Reverend Billy Graham, arguably the most well-known and respected evangelical preacher of the last 50 years, said in a recently published commentary that America was “founded by men who believed in prayer” and that prayer can turn “the tide of history,” adding that while “America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah” and deserves “the judgment of God,” this judgment can be lessened through prayer.
“Even though America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah ever were, and as deserving of the judgment of God, God would spare us if we were earnestly praying, with hearts that had been cleansed and washed by the blood of Christ,” said Rev. Graham in his commentary for Decision magazine, published by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association...
“The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained”….President George Washington…
Doesn’t help to stop this madness when we have liberaltarians etc infiltrating our party, using our conventions for their platforms, and running in our races with a R next to their name

I’m certain the Sodom and Gomorrah Part-ays are in the planning stages as we speak. Here in little ol’ Winston-Salem they will be marrying a whole group of sodomites either today, Friday, or tomorrow, Saturday.

Those same people who think Graham an imbecile, think God is also. But God will not be mocked.

The degradation of marriage in the past ten years was proceeded by no fault divorce, open marriages, winking at sinful living arrangements.

We have been given over to class warfare since the progressive tax system began to punish “the rich”....
I could go on, but you get the idea. I am a sinner saved by God’s grace, and am guilty of ALL of these and more....America as a nation is refusing to have ears to hear, despite being told the truth.
We must be cautious about interpreting every event through eschatological eyes. Nevertheless, the principle of “God shall not be mocked” in every generation.
Pray for a spiritual awakening.

It was Abraham who asked God to spare Sodom if there were10 good men.
Sodom and Gomorrah’s evil can’t hold a candle to the US these days.
I lived in Queens in 1972 through 76. Of course, disco was raging. I would go to the clubs with my friends to dance, do my hair in a disco style. I was thin, wore polyester dresses.
I was an innocent, and pretty much stayed that way. I kept to my girlfriends and just played it as fun after work on the weekends.
But the other kids were getting pretty wild on drugs, sex, going into homosexual experiences, having babies out of wedlock, boys getting girls pregnant and leaving or girls thinking who needs a husband, meanwhile drowning in poverty from that decision and the children taking the worst of it. Sexual diseases spreading like wildfire, no one had heard of HIV yet. Drinking heavily was rife.
I still remember thinking, ‘how could Sodom and Gomorrah be any worse’ and then thought of the other big cities that were likely following suit, LA, SF, Boston...I wondered why Sodom and Gomorrah got the bad rep. I knew we were no better.
It’s been years of it now.
Perhaps! My understanding of the Hebrew meaning of the name “Methuselah” is “when he goes, judgment comes”
He has the description God has given us in the Bible. Perhaps this is enough?
America still exists in the hearts and minds of a remnant.
Jacob had been convinced that Joseph had been torn to shreds by a wild beast, but Joseph is still alive. He was sent ahead to save life.
Who knows, but perhaps the problem with Sodom was that the church ministers of the day had diluted the “true Word of God” for a feel good message.?.? Perhaps the churches of Sodom held 20,000 people on any given Sunday morning...but instead of preaching the engrafted Word to save men’s souls, they preached, “Your Best Life Now!”
