There’s only one way. You're absolutely right, there's only one way. But that does not mean that protestants have the authority or the competence to determine the boundaries of that one way. That authority was given to one person: Peter and his successors. Not to the reformers, not to the prosperity gospelers, not to the proponents of the latest and greatest post-modern iteration of the Word in order to conform to the current trends of the era. Peter and Christ's Church. The One, True Faith. Not the bastardized imitations we see before us.
