Why would intelligent, successful people give up their careers, alienate their friends, and cause havoc in their families...to become Catholic? Indeed, why would anyone become Catholic?
As an evangelist and author who recently threw my own life into some turmoil by deciding to enter the Catholic Church, I've faced this question a lot lately. That is one reason I decided to make this documentary; it's part of my attempt to try to explain to those closest to me why I would do such a crazy thing.
Convinced isn't just about me, though. The film is built around interviews with some of the most articulate and compelling Catholic converts in our culture today, including Scott Hahn, Francis Beckwith, Taylor Marshall, Holly Ordway, Abby Johnson, Jeff Cavins, Devin Rose, Matthew Leonard, Mark Regnerus, Jason Stellman, John Bergsma, Christian Smith, Kevin Vost, David Currie, Richard Cole, and Kenneth Howell. It also contains special appearances by experts in the field of conversion such as Patrick Madrid and Donald Asci.
Ultimately, this is a story about finding truth, beauty, and fulfillment in an unexpected place, and then sacrificing to grab on to it. I think it will entertain and inspire you, and perhaps even give you a fresh perspective on an old faith.

if only Jesus and the devil were present during thin entire encounter, how do you know how it happened...there was no one else there to record the event.
Instead of calling people names, accusing them of not being honest and generally avoiding answering the questions posed to you, why not address them honestly if you really do care about correcting "errors"?
Okay.
But that’s not a link.
Maybe you should clean off your upper lip?

AKA...a modern-day Pharisee cult.
That is incorrect.
We are saved NOW and can be sure of it because, the God who cannot lie, tells us so.
Jesus tells us that we HAVE, present tense, eternal life now.
John 3:14-18 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 10:25-30 Jesus answered them, I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.
The blasphemy is all your own, and what would you know of the Holy Spirit?
You deny the scripture he inspired!
.
because, remember, she was pregnant...
She was betrothed to Joseph before becoming pregnant.
“Temple Virgins” aren’t typically married off.
Your arguments appear to be primarily formed via circular logic.
Catholics get confused with the facts.
Is that supported by any actual scripture or did Catholics make it up?
Oh...and paragraph breaks are your friend.

If you are dead, that may be so.
If you are alive, the word plainly states that you must endure to the end. (Mathew 24)
You simply misunderstand the verses that you posted.
Do not dismiss the true meaning of Belief in God’s word; it is a life long task.

it was cut and pasted as is.
You can’t do that!
If it has hard returns on short lines, you can use the “PRE” tag.
This quote from Rood should tell the readers.
"...in 1762 the KJV was revised for the fifth time to include italicized words which denote most times when words were added to the text without corresponding verbiage in the original Hebrew or Greek. That was an invaluable addition to their original work, and I use the same protocol when I translate the Scriptures. My translation is referred to as the MIV or the Marine Infantry Version, as I began my serious study of Scripture during my time of serving with the United States Marine Corps."
And this one.
" I recommend that every one writes his own version of every sentence that they study in the Scriptures. ..."
Evidence that he uses it.
...those who are unlearned and ignorant (of the Torah, the basic instruction from the Creator) wrestle Shaul's words to their own destruction. (II Peter 3:15-16) MIV" [The Pagan Christian Connection Exposed., 2004, Bridge-Logos]
Michael Rood is speaking there of corrections he makes in short teachings and articles. There is no “MIV.”
Rood is *correcting* nothing in Scripture.
He’s CORRUPTING it.
