This quote from Rood should tell the readers.
"...in 1762 the KJV was revised for the fifth time to include italicized words which denote most times when words were added to the text without corresponding verbiage in the original Hebrew or Greek. That was an invaluable addition to their original work, and I use the same protocol when I translate the Scriptures. My translation is referred to as the MIV or the Marine Infantry Version, as I began my serious study of Scripture during my time of serving with the United States Marine Corps."
And this one.
" I recommend that every one writes his own version of every sentence that they study in the Scriptures. ..."
Evidence that he uses it.
...those who are unlearned and ignorant (of the Torah, the basic instruction from the Creator) wrestle Shaul's words to their own destruction. (II Peter 3:15-16) MIV" [The Pagan Christian Connection Exposed., 2004, Bridge-Logos]
Michael Rood is speaking there of corrections he makes in short teachings and articles. There is no “MIV.”
BTW, “The Pagan Christian Connection” is a very good read.
