The Blessed Trinity has no beginning and no end. Christ was the Savior from the beginning. So yes, Mary was in need of a Savior, and by the power of her Savior, her son, Christ she was kept from sin.

Furthermore, none of the Lord’s Apostles, including Peter, ever taught: “Through Mary to Jesus.”
