Breaking News: Consecrated Host Returned, OKC Archbishop Drops Lawsuit

The consecrated host, who Oklahoma City's Archbishop claims was stolen by Satanic Priest Adam Daniels for use in September's “Black Mass”, has been returned.

An attorney representing the satanic church presented the host to a catholic priest in Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.

Archbishop Paul Coakley previously filed a lawsuit, asking a district judge to stop the Black Mass, scheduled for Sept. 21. With the return of the host, Coakley has agreed to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice.

Daniels released the following statement regarding the incident:

"I, Dastur Adam Daniels, returned this consecrated host to Arch-Bishop [sic] Paul Coakley. The reason for this return is based solely on the fact I refuse to waste thousands of dollars fighting over a nasty cookie that some man said a prayer over. The Black Mass of Oklahoma will continue as planned with the original host that has been used since 1666, course [sic] black bread. We will moved [sic] forward using the Concentration [sic] found in Black Mass. Nothing has changed and we will still move forward with worshiping

Who gave it to them?

The rumors are it was a Catholic Priest.

You might want to reconsider that. ;-)

Sometimes...yes. There have been many Eucharistic miracles to prove it. Check out the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, Italy. Then compare that to the Eucharistic Miracle of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Note the plethora of scientific testing.

;-)

Is Jesus powerless to extricate Himself from the consecrated host in the case of evil intent? Is he trapped in there subject to whatever humiliation they had planned for Him? Think this through.

Why didn't He then extricate Himself from the cross and all its humiliation at Calvery?"

Exactly why would anyone, but you, need to be certain?

You misunderstand the word certain for on earth even if one sees something with their own lyin’ eyes they cannot be certain.

Absolute Certainty belongs to God’s alone.

For the Greater Glory of God who alone can be certain

Aside from the satanist’s assertion that they had a consecrated host, what proof does anyone have that this was, indeed, a consecrated host?

Really, I think every last Catholic who got manipulated into a lather over this non-controversy is a FOOL.

Why?

Because you believed people who serve the king of lies and foolishly assumed they were choosing this one moment to be honest.

Again, I think this is lame.

He did. Think about it.

Assuming it is the consecrated host, what happens to it now.

My recollection (being Episcopalian, married to a Roman Catholic) is that the host must still be consumed, right?

Who gets to do that, and will the host be tested first to see whether it’s been contaminated/laced with something nasty?

“My recollection (being Episcopalian, married to a Roman Catholic) is that the host must still be consumed, right?”

I don’t think so. From what I remember, the Host will be dissolved in water in the sacristies sacrarium ( special sink in the sacristy where the plumbing leads directly into the ground.)

In this case, where it has already been defiled by a satanist, I have on clue as to what manner of reparation will be done.

The only fools I encounter are those who lack any and all respect for others.

Please explain your untenable position or pardon me for my gross misunderstanding.

Are you suggesting that it was all an act that our Lord and Savior did not suffer the cross?

He did not avoid the abject humiliation of the Cross. He suffered it for our sins and then emerged victorious and triumphant in his glorious resurrection.

That is TOTALLY different from waving a magic wand and making it all go away.

I have thought about it, a lot, I can’t stop thinking about it. He suffered and died of our sins and that is a big deal it is... THE big deal and many just take it for granted including me sometimes. I am a fool and I don’t deserve it but He still offers it to me.

Forgive me Jesus. Forgive me for taking your sacrifice for granted have Mercy on us all that have recourse to thee.

Jesus didn’t stay on the cross. He rose again three days later.

The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult. - Proverbs 12:16

The satanists are fools and so are those who take them at their word.

It doesn’t matter what you think.

Your response validates my opinion just as much as the collective outrage of the Catholics on this topic amuses the satanists. Ignore me and my opinion becomes irrelevant. Ignore them and their taunts become futile.

“Your response validates my opinion...”

Actually, it doesn’t.

“.. just as much as the collective outrage of the Catholics on this topic amuses the satanists.”

What Devil worshipers find amusing is irrelevant. What outrages Catholics about Satanic activities matters.

“Ignore me and my opinion becomes irrelevant.”

Your opinion was irrelevant no matter what. Ignoring it doesn’t make more or less irrelevant. Its worth does.

“Ignore them and their taunts become futile.”

Everything they do - ultimately - is futile because they fight a war already won by Christ. That said we must still oppose them because they still endanger individual souls.

Yes, your opinion is absolutely irrelvant. However, since as Catholics we believe that a consecrated host is the Body and Blood of Christ under the species of bread, we treat the host as much as you would a missing person.

If someone called and said they had your family member, you would act.

That you do not share our beliefs is understood. However, we believe what we believe and no one’s dismissal or deridement of them will change what was the proper attempt, successful I might add, to recover the Host.

Was it consecrated? It probably is, but we would not risk dismissing their claim simply because satanists lie.

Ignoring them is the devil’s tactic. Satan has convinced an entire civilization that he does not exist.

I gather from too many Catholics that the only opinions that matter are those of Catholics.

You're right. I'd first verify that they really have my family member before jumping to conclusions. Again, I've no idea why you people are believing the words of people who worship a liar.
