As Joel and Victoria Osteen get ready to launch their "America's Night of Hope" tour, ticket scalpers are in high gear.
The tour starts Saturday at Yankee Stadium.
On Thursday morning, two seats in the first row of the stadium's Delta Suite B were for sale on eBay and StubHub for $850 each.
In an effort to minimize ticket scalping, the Joel Osteen organization does not sell tickets in large blocks, Davis said.
On Thursday, Victoria Osteen was with a group of children at the Bronx Zoo as part of the project, David said. "Mentoring was the theme," she said. "We took about 300 kids from local schools and let them experience a fun day at the zoo."

I’ve heard him once or twice. Still wonder what is so attractive about him. He is a poor speaker and has no personality that I can detect. Otherwise I haven’t heard him enough to judge his message.
“”America’s Night of Hope””
What? No change?
I can get my very own box of Froot Loops for $4.
and it will make you feel good too. :)
He’s probably many things, a Christian minister is not what I would call him though.
That makes two of us. Though I’d consider going if I got a chance to call him out.
Honestly, I just don’t get it.
Mostly jittery from all that sugar.
:D
He is at worst a Pied Piper.
“money cometh!” sayeth joel.
Agreed and Amen.
Probably the same scheme as many sports programs.
*Join the booster club
*Buy a seat license
*Then get a season ticket
And just so you don’t run the risk of losing the ticket they implant a chip in the back of your hand that is swiped when you enter the worship venue..
Mention Christ?
He denied him once on National TV!
Personally, I think a positive Godly message includes clearly stating that Jesus is the only way to God and that homosexuality is a sin.
Osteen has had problems doing so-—and more than once.
If you can’t take a firm stand and agree with God’s word, ARE you for Him?
Also, as far as “judgment” goes, you should check out the Scriptures which instruct us to make righteous judgments.
What kind of Christian can’t distinguish between right and wrong?
Not if he is curious about the wrong Christ ... he will only be led astray.
If your message is "accept Jesus and enjoy your best life now" ... people will pursue the wrong Christ.
Hell if I know, but then I’ll go to see a good performer be it opera or thrash metal.
