If you’re in Houston, don’t use public restrooms…..

…..because you have no idea what you may be confronted with.

I saw this when it was first passed a few weeks ago. It seems the rather militant lesbian mayor of Houston has played to her core base by getting the City Council there to approve an ordinance banning “discrimination” in public facilities on the basis of gender. This includes restrooms, and an immediate effect of the ordinance is that public restroom facilities in the City of Houston are now open to any of the 50 “sexes” that Facebook so helpfully made us aware of a short time ago. That is, men who pretend to be women can use the women’s room, and vice versa. I believe this policy also extends to dressing rooms at clothing stores, and the like:

It’s now legal for men to use women’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities – and vice-versa – thanks to the passing of the Equal Rights Ordinance in Houston, TX last Wednesday night.

Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, called it “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”

The ordinance’s stated goal is to eliminate discrimination in housing and employment for gays, transgenders – 14-characteristics in total – including race, ethnicity, age, religion and disability.

Opponents have 30 days to attain more than 17,000 petition signatures to appeal the decision.

Careful next time you venture into a restroom in Houston, you and your kids might get an eyeful of something you didn’t expect.

By the way, if you are a Christian and operate a public business in Houston, like, say, a restaurant, and you feel you cannot in conscience even tacitly encourage the kind of scandal that could result from intersex bathrooms, too bad. If you don’t comply, you can be fined from $500-$5000 per instance of “offense.”

And all this to please a minority that isn’t even half of one percent of the population. Heck, “transgenders” may not make up 1/10 of 1 percent. But they get their way, your Christofascist morals be damned.

Houston is a place I have assiduously avoided throughout my lifetime, and now I have another reason to do so. How long before public restrooms become havens of sexual assault and Lord knows what else?

Good job, Houston. Way to elect a radical to office.

Houston REALLY began going down hill after generously accepting a sh*tload of ‘refuges’ from that sh*thole New Orleans and LA. Crime skyrocketed.

I worked on a truck in an RV Storage facility in Houston a few years ago. No bathroom facilities, so we used the ones in Walmart and Home Depot, since we were in there for parts and supplies a lot.

I was disgusted by people that didn’t put their used toilet paper in the toilet after wiping. What’s up with that?

I’m surprised that this didn’t happen in Austin first.

What’s up with that?

Toilet Paper and Mexican Plumbing

"...However in village businesses, it is common to see a sign in the bathroom asking you not to throw tissue paper down the toilet. The problem is not the municipal sewer system, but likely the drainpipe between the toilet and the street drain connection.

I have lived in Houston for 60 of my 74 years. The invitation to NO refugees after Katrina was a real mistake but........ Houston people being the kind generous sort that we are (mostly), we would probably do it again.

I am not terribly disturbed by this bathroom issue. I will use the restroom of a restaurant where I am eating dinner but would never use a filling station bathroom or one at a store like Walmart, and that was before this new ruling.

Mexicans. Third-World “emigrants” don’t understand superior American flush toilets. They think paper will plug up the toilets here, just like the crappers back home. I’m serious!

Don’t you just love what dear ‘ol Bum Phillips had to say about what it means to be a Texan.
God bless him. Bet he DID seek out the Alamo heroes
