Last week I wrote about Glenn Becks recent sermon at Liberty University. In that post, I pointed out that Beck referred to the colored cloth triangles that the Nazis made concentration camp inmates wear to identify the reason for imprisonment. The last triangle he displayed to his audience was a purple triangle...

And, the CAtholics did a REALLY poor job of ‘catechizing’ him when THEY had hold of him!

I don’t care if Beck gives 50% of his income to the Mormon church. He is the one who said he and his new wife decided to shop for a religion. I didn’t just dream it up. Beck is not a born into the Mormon faith.
If your go to guy on life and Mormonism is Glenn Beck you are misinformed. If your go to guy on the right way to think and behave is Glenn Beck you are being led down the wrong path.
Genn Beck is a demented loon with a messianic complex. Glenn Beck is Lonesome Rhodes.
Your account was inaccurate, and as one of the most devout and devoted, and elite followers of Mormonism, he is indeed the man who knows about his religion.
Beck wrote a book on his conversion, and will have deep connections to church authority to make sure that he is correct on his religion’s teachings and his influence on the public.
Glenn Beck has to go through a process every two years from church leaders, to maintain his high status of faith and devotion and elite position within his religion.
Rather than being a casual Mormon, as you keep trying to portray, Glenn Beck is among the chosen, average Mormons are not even allowed to worship in, or enter the Temples that he worships at.
Hey I listened to Beck tell his story in his own words. He and the 2nd try clasped hands and went out to shop for a religion. He’s a loon with a hidden agenda. I have no doubt he has wormed his way into the inner sanctum of Mormonism because he has money. He is not a born Mormon who was raised in the religion. He only came to that cult er faith in recent years. Frankly I don’t care if the guy worships earthworms. I wouldn’t pay any attention to anything he says. He’s bogus and suspect.
And THIS is it:

Kinda messes up their Forever Family pitch that they toss about so cavalierly.
KNOW!!!!
And it's MormonISM that we don't 'like'.
It ain't mine: it is WRITTEN in the Book.
This red herring is best left for another thread and another time.
Today; I am posting FACTS about Mormonism.
I'm sure that 55,000,000+ people that did not make it to actually LIVE in America might disagree.
With all respect to you, speak for yourself when you call Glenn Beck one of your "leaders." He is not mine.
History is blunt. Left to itself, it doesnt spin or gloss over unpleasant facts. The positive side to unvarnished history is that it can prevent future mistakes. There are many examples in history of religions enabling evil. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not an exception to this rule. A glance at the Dec. 9, 1933, LDS Church News, published with The Deseret News, contains a particularly unpleasant puff piece on Nazi Germany, and its leaders, Adolf Hitler, as well as Joseph Goebbels.
Its titled, Mormonism in the New Germany, and penned by the unfortunately over-enthusiastic Dale Clark, is grotesque in its effusive praise for Hitler. Here is an example: As a specimen of physical endurance Hitler can easily take his place along side the athletes who are usually taken as classic examples. His 14 year struggle which brought him to power in Germany put him to a terrific physical strain (sic). Besides the great responsibility there has been trials and conflicts, and campaigning so strenuous that it has required his attention night and day, many times making it necessary for him to travel great distances by auto or plane, catching up on his sleep underway to fit him for the multitudes who would gather to hear him wherever he had time to stop.
What a Superman!
Kinda like the effusive praise we find heaped upon a poor, ignorant farm boy; too!
Elsie, I don’t understand your hatred of Mormons or Mormonism. I’m around it all the time and just don’t see the problems you think you see.
I have always been a live and let live kind of person unless what you do negatively effects me. They don’t negatively effect me, neither do Baptists, Catholics, Methodist or Lutherans which are all in my background.
Goody for you.
Mormonism is a heresy.
A nice, American, wholesome, goodlooking women, children and dogs and hamsters; too.
It is vastly conservative and tends to poll well when non-Mormons are asked about it.
It is still a heresy that denies the GOD of the Scriptures and I'll be DAMNED if I let thousands of brainwashed young 'missionaires' get to tell their truncated version of their religion to unsuspecting people.
Can you NOW 'understand' me a little bit more than you did earlier?
1. Mormons don't make you decide between being Mormon and death,
2. they don't ostracize you if you aren't one of them (believe me I know about that),
3. they don't tell you that you are doomed to Hell if you aren't one of them and
4. they are followers of Christ.
