“I believe that scripture says that it’s a sin but I always follow that up by saying you know what, we’re not against anybody,” Osteen said to Larry King. “There’s a lot of things Larry that I don’t understand - so I just don’t want to preach on it, preach about it.”

In another interview he told Piers Morgan, “I’m not against anything.” In that same segment he and his wife Victoria said that they would attend a homosexual marriage.

So he’s for gay marriage.

“We’re not against anybody,” Osteen said to Larry King. “Because everybody has cash with which to buy the hope and prosperity that I’m selling.”

“Does that mean you’ll take contributions from gays?” King asked.

“Of course, I will, Larry. God tells us not to discriminate.”

Interviews where a pastor simply quotes Messiah with ‘It is written’ and then further quotes His Torah wouldn’t be very good TV...

Probably bad for book sales too..

and if the gov’t—under the direction of the gay lobby— takes your or your flock’s money and uses it to pay for abortion or establish homosexual marriage, or the church of athieism, then what esteemed pastor?

Way to shirk your responsibility as a “pastor”, Osteen.

All the soft-peddling responses made me physically ill. “Not against anybody” - give me a break. Then you are a horrible “minister” of the gospel.

* III. “MALE AND FEMALE HE CREATED THEM”

Equality and difference willed by God

369 Man and woman have been created, which is to say, willed by God: on the one hand, in perfect equality as human persons; on the other, in their respective beings as man and woman. “Being man” or “being woman” is a reality which is good and willed by God: man and woman possess an inalienable dignity which comes to them immediately from God their Creator.240 Man and woman are both with one and the same dignity “in the image of God”. In their “being-man” and “being-woman”, they reflect the Creator’s wisdom and goodness.

370 In no way is God in man’s image. He is neither man nor woman. God is pure spirit in which there is no place for the difference between the sexes. But the respective “perfections” of man and woman reflect something of the infinite perfection of God: those of a mother and those of a father and husband.241

III. THE LOVE OF HUSBAND AND WIFE
2360 Sexuality is ordered to the conjugal love of man and woman. In marriage the physical intimacy of the spouses becomes a sign and pledge of spiritual communion. Marriage bonds between baptized persons are sanctified by the sacrament.

Nowhere does it say conjugal love of man and man.
