So, the Holy Spirit got it wrong, eh?

I don’t see HIM use the terms interchangeably.

Words means things and words say things that mean things.

*Mother of God* does not say or mean the same thing as *Mother of Jesus*.

The best correction for heresy is not to create another one but to correct the wrong teaching. There are better ways of correcting error than teaching that GOD had a mother and therefore was not eternal.

So are you saying that Jesus is not God? The Second Person of the Trinity?

Jesus is God, as you know. And Mary was, and is, His Mother.

Obviously, Mary was not the mother of Jesus’ eternal nature.

This really isn’t difficult to understand.

The argument is just a silly anti-Catholic canard, like “call no man father.” Most proponents of this objection seem to be unaware of the fact that they call their own fathers, “father,” and that Jesus also tells us to “call no man teacher.” Clearly Jesus is using hyperbole to make a point.
