After you see the movie be sure not hold back your opinion. I guess everyone missed the movie when it was on the History channel?
Twice divorced Roman catholic ?
As I already explained to DaveMSmith, I purposely noted that there were many important exceptions to the general rule that interreligious marriages tend to indicate indifferentism. But it’s a statistical fact that most children of interreligious marriages end up irreligious.
“and stupid to put her plastic mug in the role of Mary.”
I’m not defending Downey, but she only ended up in the movie because the woman who was hired to play the Virgin Mary didn’t work out.
“the only thing good that could come from that is me, and my brother and sister.”
Well, maybe the brother and sister.
The gospel of Roma Downey and her husband Mark Burnett, is another Jesus, another gospel and another way

Thanks for your comment...too often we blindly accept one person’s opinion as the absolute truth because he has a website and we do not...who is Christopher anyway? and what harm has this movie done other than to create more positive conversation about the life on earth of God’s son? be careful who you indict as agents of
Satan, they are usually more negative than positive...and they are on this site too often.
I have no opinion of the film. But as for Downey, you will know them by their fruit. If she has been or is involved in necromancy...

2 John 1:9-11
King James Version (KJV)
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
“Sorry folks, but if she’s any of those things, she’s not a devout Catholic”.
Any one on their third marriage, and never having any of the former marriages annulled by the Catholic Church, is not a “devout Catholic”. Her last marriage was done at her home.
Her and Mark Burnett were wed on 28 April 2007 in their Malibu home. Her Touched By An Angel co-star, Della Reese, officiated at the wedding.
Reese was ordained as a minister in 2010, after serving as the senior minister and founder of the Understanding Principles for Better Living Church, an independent “Christian New Thought” congregation.

lolz
Oh boy. That's not good.
Thanks for the ping. We liked the TV series and are withholding judgment on this movie.
Nobody needs these films. Righteousness is by faith in what has not been seen. Scripture is God-breathed.
I can’t stand seeing anyone play Jesus anyway!
So Roma Downey is not Catholic at all! Thanks for the news.
Are you saying she’s been involved in necromancy? Or are you just characterizing Touched By An Angel as necromancy? It IS a worthy point that Touched’s theology of the after life is NOT Christian, but Swedeborgian.
Well, the good news is that a movie made for almost nothing out of scraps of a TV show proved the strong hunger for anything vaguely Christian, by making about $27 million in one weekend. With good legs, that could push $100 million, total.
She also has a degree from the New Age University of Santa Monica in Spiritual Psychology.
She's also a fan of Eckhart Tolle and Tony Robbins.
It really isn’t. That’s pretty black stuff.
What was the take on the movie at your church?
just wow. Kinda makes the “wtach out she’s Catholic” warning all the sillier.
