Dude, it is multicultural and transcultural and it transcends culture.
In Christ you are neither jew nor greek.
He needs to get out more.
There are exception of course. Our church is very diverse. We have an associate minister originally from Iran. He has brought in many new families from Iran. Then we have Egyptians, Chinese, Japanese, S. Koreans, Philippians’s, Mexicans, a few black and of course white.
Freedom of association trumps multiculturalism.
Yeah right, like churches “hire” their congregations.....

Can we just, for ONCE, blame those who are NOT there instead of those who ARE. Just once, let it be their decision NOT to go to church, to sleep in, to NOT believe in God, instead of the church’s responsibility.

When I was a kid, I had an elementary school 200 yards from my front door and a middle school across the street. To satisfy a bunch of Yankee judges, I was bussed across town for 9 years to put some cream in the coffee.
I’m not going to be bussed across town to worship with blacks. They worship their way, and we worship our way. (To be honest, their way is a lot more fun.)
Christians of every color worship the same God, and it isn’t at the altar of multi-culti.
My church isn’t the least bit ‘multicultural’. We only have a spectrum of Christians in the congregation, no Jews, no Muslims, no atheists, no Scientologists, no Buddhists, no animists, no pagans....
Speaking for my church, it is open to anybody of any race or background who wishes to come in.
Not finding that requirement in my Bible, therefore it is irrelevant.
Universities have been trying for decades now, and all they have to show for it are "Black" dorms and "Black" tables in dining halls. Those darn minorities just stubbornly refuse to be pawns for white liberals' self-serving schemes.

My Baptist church has black members and a black assistant pastor

Out here on the west coast of the four churches in my city, three have Hispanic Masses. One of them has three Hispanic Masses and one Vietnamese Mass.
Do we pass the test?
And Christ told the apostles (and us by default) to be fishers of men. He didn’t say white men only.
All races are welcome at the Catholic Church.
