Like a precariously balanced house of cards, the fight against same sex marriage has been getting defeated in state after state. However, it is not because the voters have had a change of heart, it's because too many judges are inventing new constitutional rights our founding fathers never intended to exist. All the while inventing illogical reasons why some constitutional rights do not exist as specified in the the bill of rights.
Now that the Democrats in the US Senate have unilaterally ended the opposition's ability to stop judicial appointments they disagree with, Obama will have free reign to appoint all the pro-homosexual judges his evil little heart desires.
On January 6, 2014 Obama nominated 49 judges that await approval from the Senate. Or should I say the approval of the Democrat party, because the Republicans will have no say so in their appointments.. Looking at Obama's past appointments and his many statements on same sex marriage, you can be assured of how each and every nominee will rule on homosexual matters.
In a sane world, politicians would look the polls that show Americans are overwhelmingly opposed to same sex marriage and make sure that the judges they appoint would reflect public opinion. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. Every week we hear of another state having laws the voters passed, overturned by the judges sworn to uphold the constitution. We live in a Judgeocracy, where judges rule by fiat to force it upon our society their will.
As a logical Christian, I look at the many prophecies God has given us throughout the Scriptures, and I can see the writing on the wall. In the near future we will be living in a society that not only allows same-sex marriage but also accepts it as

AMEN! GREAT article that I will print for those I hear proclaiming homosexuals are not bad for society.
Revival is called for now more than ever in America. IF we can get ONE strong organization to have a revival where all Christians are joined to ONE message, we can win this. Having hundreds of organizations gives too many messages and just like politics, spread over too many monied organizations.
Excellent article.
In addition to pointing out the scriptures that say that God doesn’t approve I’d like a Christian author to emphasize WHY God doesn’t approve - because He loves us.
All sin, whether we’re saved or not, leads to pain for ourselves and others. God laid out the laws not only to define His expectations of perfection but also to protect us from the pain of sin.
From a secular perspective homosexual behavior clearly (except to those who refuse to accept the statistics) results in self destructive lifestyles, both psychologically & physically.
Maybe you could invest some time in another article based on non-religious reasoning...
Truth is hate to those who hate the Truth...
Progressives who pride themselves by engineering culture for the purpose of normalizing homosexuality will have a rude awaking on Judgment Day. SURPRISE! God does not change. It’s in the Book, that’s they way it will be!
NUMBERS 23:19
God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
2.1 SAMUEL 15:29
He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.
PSALM 15:4
who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;
PSALM 55:19
God, who is enthroned from of old, who does not change he will hear them and humble them, because they have no fear of God.
JAMES 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Listen to Times Square Church Prayer Meeting on Tuesday night. It is on the net live.
I tend to agree with Irvin Baxter (Endtime Ministry) and his take on the times we are living in right now. So far, I’ve only observed him to be a humble man who has studied Bible prophecy for many years & seems to me to be pretty much right on the money about the times in which we’re living. - I’m weary of war; but prophecy seems to say we can expect more and bigger wars soon. Evidently, the times are farther along than a lot of people like to think.
In Romans 1, it says that God “gave them up” to homosexuality and other sins.
It is apparent that in spite of consistent votes against gay marriage, it keeps winning in courts, etc. We are witnessing God give up this country. The only way to fight it is with the gospel.
Amen, FRiend
All sin is an abomination to God.
We are born sinful. NO SIN is acceptable to God. No sin is singled out as OK. All must repent and lay prostrate before Christ in order to be justified.
Yes of course you are both correct, but considering this is the prevalent sin of the day that we are supposed to accept as normal, I decided to ruffle some feathers with it.
Besides, 80% of readers only read the headlines.
It’s the headlines that get hooked in their mouths, and I needed a reason to get those who may be offended to take the bate.
Right.
Idolatry is a sin ... yet our culture idolizes wealth, physical beauty, youth, fame, power, public opinion, convenience ...
Profaning The Name of the Lord is a sin ... yet our culture is awash in profanity, obscenity and vulgarity.
We are commanded to honor our fathers and mothers ... yet much of our popular entertainment is predicated on the notion that adults in general and parents in particular are idiots. "Childrens' television" teaches contempt for fathers.
Murder is a sin ... and our culture rightly condemns it. Except when the victims are unborn ... or elderly ... or disabled ... then it's a sacred "right to choose".
Theft is a sin ... and our culture rightly condemns it. Unless we can get the government to do it for us. Stealing from "the 1%" is viewed in some circles as righteous.
Adultery is a sin ... that our culture winks at, while celebrating fornication and sodomy.
Envy is a sin ... and our culture wallows in it. Advertising promotes it; requires it.
God Bless America?
Yes, indeed: Bless us with the grace of repentance and conversion.

Yes, but be honest about it. Lying, a haughty look, dishonest weights, having sex with a menstruating woman, etc. These are all explicitly identified as abominations, too.
It may be designed to elicit a response, but then you are intentionally sowing discord, which is also an abomination to God.
Exactly right. Homosexuality is no worse than any other sin. It’s just the latest front in the battle going on in our society.
Yep. The problem with quoting scripture to many non-Christians is that it’s dismissed out of hand. Those arguing for “gay marriage” often gloss over the negatives with “how dare we deny a loving relationship?”. Thus Christians are painted as hateful.
But a Christian message that leads with scientific evidence and statistics on the depravity (without using that language) of the homosexual behavior can conclude that it’s NOT loving to allow or encourage that lifestyle.
This message could expand on the bumper sticker message of “love the sinner, hate the sin”. God hates destructive behavior because He loves us. Our Christian response should reflect the same.
Let’s take back the language!
Rainbows are a promise from the gods-
Purple is the color of royalty; something the queer are not-
3% of the population should not interfere with the tradition beliefs of the 97%-
And if the gods choose to punish the 3%, fine by me.
