According to Scripture (Sola Scriptura)

"If a teaching isn’t explicit in the Bible, then we don’t accept it as doctrine!" That belief, commonly known as sola scriptura, was a central component of all I believed as a Protestant. This bedrock Protestant teaching claims that Scripture alone is the sole rule of faith and morals for Christians. Diving deeper into its meaning to defend my Protestant faith against Catholicism about twenty years ago, I found that there was no uniform understanding of this teaching among Protestant pastors and no book I could read to get a better understanding of it.

What role does tradition play? How explicit does something have to be in Scripture before it can be called doctrine? Does Scripture tell us what is absolutely essential for us to believe as Christians? How can we determine the canon using sola scriptura? All these questions and more pointed to the central question: Where is sola scriptura itself taught in the Bible?

It says in verse 22, “...to know good and evil.”

It’s answered in the verse itself. It’ those who know good and evil. The angels know what good and evil is also in that they observed Lucifer become evil.

BTW I don't know what you meant by "this generation" but I'm 66 years old.

2 Cor 15
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

2 Cor
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

The Bible only contains little on this you will just have to wait when more of the word of the Lord is restored!:)

I am sure there was more written on this but that was all that the Tradition of Men included.

Excerpt It is apparent that if God rewards everyone according to the deeds done in the body, the term heaven as intended for man’s eternal home must include more kingdoms than one. In speaking of man in his resurrected state, Paul tells of glories like the sun, the moon, and the stars (1 Cor. 15:39–41). He also speaks of the “third heaven” (2 Cor. 12:2). Jesus spoke of “many mansions” or kingdoms (John 14:2). Latter-day revelation confirms the teaching of the Bible on these matters and verifies that there are three general categories or glories to which the members of the human family will be assigned in the judgment following their resurrection from the grave. These are known as the celestial, terrestrial, and telestial kingdoms, of which the sun, moon, and stars....

Celestial - pertaining to the sky or visible heaven, or to the universe beyond the earth’s atmosphere, as in celestial body.

Terrestrial - pertaining to, consisting of, or representing the earth as distinct from other planets.

Telestial - There are no known uses of the word prior to Joseph Smith's prophecies. (aka Made up word by the author of fairy tales) LOL

>>but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.<<

Um……….Duh!

>>I am sure there was more written on this but that was all that the Tradition of Men included.<<

So you don’t think the original scriptures were inspired by the Holy Spirit?

>>Latter-day revelation confirms<<

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8-9 2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Was the “Latter-day” revelations taught by the apostles?

I don’t fall for those LDS fairy tales.

You didn’t show scripture that shows Adam and Eve ever lived somewhere other than on earth.

>> When you fine blood in Adam, when Adam was in the Garden of Eden show me?<<

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Interesting how real scripture puts the LDS fairy tales to shame isn’t it?
