“The Catholic focus is always on what they do rather than what they believe. “
False. We are taught that faith and works go hand in hand.

Of course faith without works is dead. Lets look at what Jesus said about that.
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:28-29

So we agree about something....that faith and works are both important.

It depends on what you mean by works. Clearly the Catholic Church understanding according to Jesus words is in error.

Don’t bother. I like being a carnal Catholic. If it was good enough for Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Dominic, Francis of Assisi, Joan of Arc, Catherine of Siena, Teresa of Jesus, Therese of the Child Jesus (neither of whom, I’m sure, ever thought about Jesus), John Fisher, Thomas More, Ignatius of Loyola, Vincent de Paul, Catherine Laboure, Bernadette Soubirous, Padre Pio, Edith Stein, Maximilian Kolbe, Teresa of Calcutta, and other carnal, Pelagian idolaters, it’s good enough for me.

I wont. I was given a revelation by reading Jesus words just after my last post to you.
John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
Jesus prayed for only those who received Him and the words He gave them. He did not pray for those who didnt receive His words. I wont either.

For every verse you quote saying works dont matter, there is another contradictory one saying they do.So I've heard...
John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, What must we do to do the works God requires?
Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.

Love it! Some people really need to lighten up around here.

It’s astounding, the people who run around all day, every day, seething with rage because of auricular confession, incense, holy water, and the rosary. There must be a propaganda machine out there of which sane people are barely aware.
