When is the Rapture ?
Jesus is coming 2016 ^ | current | Jesus is coming 2016

Why I believe the Rapture of the Church

will take place between December 25, 2013,

and January 4, 2014

The Lord has been giving me pieces to a puzzle for the last 13 years, leading me to the date for the firstfruits Rapture of the Church. The puzzle ends between December 25, 2013, and January 4, 2014. I very strongly believe that the Rapture will take place on January 3/4, 2014. However, it is possible that the puzzle can end as early as December 25, 2013.

You have MISCHARACTERISED and slandered some fine brothers in the Lord, in that you have CONFUSED two viewpoints.. ONE view is that of FULL PRETERISM..this is the view that ALL prophecy, (INCLUDING the 2d Coming) has already occured.

Let me say with emphasis, that Gary DeMar, Dr, Kenneth Gentry and Dr. R.J.Rushdoony are not and never have been FULL Preterists. This is a canard, usually brought by Dispensationalists who are generally confused about Preterism.

Rather, these men hold to the historical Reformed view of Post Millillenial thought, they are also PARTIAL Preterists; they do NOT advocate FULL preterism, they’ve NEVER taught that ALL Prophecy has been fullfilled.

PARTIAL preterism is the thought that MOST Biblical prophecy has been fulfilled, the ONLY thing left to happen in the future is Christ 2d Coming, occuring on that Last Day.(hence the term PARTIAL.)

In my opinion, (for what it’s worth), it is Dispensationalism which should be “shunned” like the plague.I KNOW Dispensationalism from within..Since I live in Dallas, throughout the years I’ve met many teachers from Dallas Theological Seminary, including John Walvoord, Charles Ryrie and others; I’ve also known many who have been graduates of DTS. I have been bombarded with this teaching all my life.

After much study, and more than a few years, The Lord led me out of the foggy miasma of Dispensationalism, through the ministry of R. C.Sproul, and others, including Gary DeMar.

DeMar’s book, “LAST DAYS MADNESS” refutes Dispensationalism very well; but also explains the PARTIAL preterism view, as well as explaining a bit about Post Millenialism. This view makes MORE SENSE than Dispensationalism ever has. I would recommend this book to everyone who is interested in learning about OTHER Conservative Historic Christian views of Prophecy.

I have no idea what that means.

But the beginning of the harvest started with the resurrection of Jesus and the firstfruits and afterward the ones at Christs coming.

As we now know at least a two thousand year span.

It means "May you know peace through the NAME of Jesus the Messiah"

First Fruits is a YHvH commanded Feast commemorating the first of the barley
harvest on the day following Shabbat following Passover and it begins the
fifty day count to the YHvH commanded Feast of (Pentecost) Shavuot
every year.

The apostles who stood by Jesus’s side couldn’t get it right. Why should anyone else presume so? Jesus tells us not to be concerned about selfish matters and urges us on to help others toward Him.

I read the one on the False rapture and am inclined to believe that it really was time for her rapture.

When it comes time for some one who loves God they will go one way or another.

Christ is to come back on what he describes as the last day, but the scriptures also say that a day is as a thousand years.

For all we know the last day could have started 999 years ago, we just don,t know.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

There is no sting in death of those who love God because they have nothing to fear, there is no victory for the grave because it only holds the left overs..

Right, i am sure we could write down a more useful comment if we would only write what we don,t know.

Come to think of it maybe that is what every one is really doing,ha,ha.

I'm not sure exactly what that means. If a catastrophe occurs it can be covered up or denied. shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach

I guess the point what that biblically it doesn't say that Christ returns, raptures the church, and afterwards returns a number of years later.

The church is caught up with Christ, transformed into spirit beings, when Christ returns.

But the nice thing about this article is that we'll know for certain within a week...I hope it happens but like all other predictions setting a time for the return of Christ this too will probably fail.

What I enjoyed is the compelling use of Scripture.

They did not rip one verse out of context
and build a whole tradition on it.

, then it means you are just limiting both of us to one theory,
***I don’t want to limit it that way, but I’ve grown tired from when the other UFO dudes argue against it and have no idea what it contains. Like I said, I’ve read dozens of books on UFOs and this one tops all of them by a wide margin. So at the very least it is worth it for you to read.

I caution against setting a time or season. The Lord will come as the Father arranges it. Pointing to news events is not profitable. Continue with prayer and supplication, sharing the good news of Christ’s birth and glorious return.

YHvH put it all in motion before the foundations of the universe.

He told us so.

He had prophets write it down beforehand for His Glory.

News events just confirm His prophesy and Power.

To: Revolting cat!

Folks need to get their minds off the rapture and think about the resurrection. There will be two resurrections, Revelation 20:5 and then Revelation 20:12,13.

Read Jesus’ words in Matthew 24. Christians are not spared the tribulation.

Where has it not been preached? Seriously. There are even bibles in Antarctica.
***I would defer to the experts, folks like Wycliffe Bible Translaters who are focused on the remaining languages to have the bible translated. They seem to think there are still quite a few unreached people groups.

We’ve been round and round here about Gary DeMar, Kenneth Gentry and R.J.Rushdoony. A fine conglomeration of Preterism, Dominionism, Dominion Theology, Kingdom Theology, and Reconstructionism. All those boys think Christians need to set up the Kingdom of God on earth so that Jesus can come back. Old man Rushdoony and his son in law Gary North even think we should all be under the Old Testament laws if I remember correctly.

Don’t even get me started on that whole bunch

Q. When is the Rapture?

A. From:

Enoch

Book 1: Watchers
Chapter 1

1 The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be 2 living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

3 Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, 4 And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai, [And appear from His camp] And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5 And all shall be smitten with fear And the Watchers shall quake, And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth. 6 And the high mountains shall be shaken, And the high hills shall be made low, And shall melt like wax before the flame 7 And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, And all that is upon the earth shall perish, And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).

8 But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect, And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, And they shall be prospered, And they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He will make peace with them'.

9 And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Parable of the tares
Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Thank you for the ping. : )

Well, it is a well constructed argument, though in my opinion, it leans upon things which are not readily evident - Obama's peace prize being one of them. I do not believe that Obama rises to the caliber of Antichrist, nor does his current position allow him the power of world control - we forget that the US and her allies are not the end-all power in the world... We have little influence in the Muslim countries and Cino-Soviet Block.

It would seem there is some credence - the Antichrist comes to power in the 'sides of the North' by way of intrigue... but it remains to be seen if that can be read in perfectly as the US President. If he goes on to the UN, perhaps... And he is young enough to do that.

I am appreciative of the OP's use of the Holy Days, and understanding of the necessity of their inclusion in any factoring of prophecy, but I find his interpretation to be somewhat wrested... The blood moons and eclipses are definitely on my radar, but it is apparent to me that the fall feasts are the main emphasis of the second coming, with a particular and necessary cant toward the Jubilees (and most probably a Grand Jubilee). I am a bit hesitant to use Hanukkah and Purim in the factoring of time, because they were not part of the original prescribed days... So I have a bit of an inbuilt bias against his emphasis upon Hanukkah, and a real bias against the coincidence of Hanukkah/Christmas... Rather, I would assert, it is counter-intuitive that YHWH would lend *any* credence to pagan high days, even by coincidence.

And finally, As I draw a distinction between the ps.83 war, the Magog War, and the war in the plain of Megiddo; and in that I also draw a distinction between the tribulation and the wrath; and in that I also must allow time for our brother Judah to be included in the Rapture (before the wrath), I must conclude that there is too much left to be done before the Rapture can occur - primarily the binding of the two sticks in the hand of Yeshua.

In saying that, I know that we are right up upon it, even at the cusp. If I do not see Him coming in His glory, my children certainly will.

QUOTE: "...so exactly 1260 days from when the tribulation starts Jesus will return. That gives us an exact day for Jesus return yet Jesus said “no one would know the day nor the hour”."

You put words in my mouth, for I never claimed it lasted "exactly 1260 days", for Jesus had promised

Matthew 14:22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

Rather, the Beast is given power to reign for 42 months or 1260 days, which he apparently does got get to completely enjoy.

Regarding the prophecy's in Daniel, we should use clear scripture to interpret unclear ones.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The identity of the he in "...he shall confirm a covenant..." could be The Messiah or the prince who is to come. You are hard pressed to prove it is either (The Messiah or future emporer Titus), or someone else (the Beast), but I am inclined to believe is is the Messiah, since his ministry was arguably 3.5 years, and at his crucifixion the veil was torn, and animal sacrifice was made obsolete. Jesus also told them:

Matthew 23:36 Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation.
37“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
38 Look, your house is left to you desolate.

Easily the worst abomination is killing God's Son, not putting a pig in the temple.

I was not trying to be snarky per se, rather I was challenging you to study the scripture. In my previous life as a pre-tribber, it bothered me no end that EVERY NT rapture passage that has timing imparted in the text always places it after the tribulation: last day, last trump, after the tribulation of those days, will not come except the apostacy, first resurrection, etc. To maintain the pre-trib viewpoint, a lot of gymnastics are required to explain that the plain meaning of the text is not what it actually means. Couple that with the absence of the rapture in the book of Revelation and the historical teachings of the early church fathers, and I was compelled to abandon that viewpoint.

Try reading the scriptures I listed in #119 without the assistance of any charts or commentaries, and determine what the plain meaning of those scriptures are.

>>Also nobody knows when this will take place according to scripture.<<

Well then it can’t be after the tribulation because that will be exactly 1260 days after the abomination of desolation when the anti Christ announces he is god.
