How do you know you're saved?
Imagine you arrive at a most important banquet that's hosted by Christ Himself. After all--you're a Christian. Picture coming to His home and walking right up to the door. Perhaps you're a little surprised that the door is closed and you're shut outside. But not to be deterred, you knock and knock. No response, no reaction. So you call out, "Jesus open the door, Lord it's me." Still, no response, no reaction. At long last, you hear Jesus' voice and He says, "I never knew you!" What a devastating and shocking situation in which to find yourself.

Matthew 7:
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
I wonder how many actually have found the true meaning of that verse ?
How many know what Jesus Christ was speaking about him self of being that straight gate, as in ? I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come unto the father but my me ?
As is the narrow way, the straight gate, as in ?
The only way of Salvation ?
How many realize that Jesus was talking about him self there in stead of some religious form way of living ?

" The bible is obsessed with sin. "
And the bible has a cure for sin, a way of escape from God's just judgement from that sin, that is Jesus Christ.

Care to address the “few there be that find it” clause?

" Care to address the few there be that find it clause? "
Because of religion and unbelief ? and because religion and unbelief has blinded and deceived them ?

Yes, “Churchianity” in a word.
Far too many believe that their church can save them.

BINGO, that's a start, there is more.
Bottom line ?
No if's and's or but's, Jesus Christ IS the only way to be saved and the only way of Salvation, sorry the Pope don't count.

You mean that great big giant Grace hoop?EVERYONE agrees we are saved by 'grace'
The way I see it; the Catholics and the PROTESTants disagree on how that grace is received.
OTOH, after we finally GET the 'grace', there seems to be a GREAT divide on how we are 'kept'.
Oh so many are posting Scripture that seems to indicate that we are kept by works; while others are posting Scripture that seems to indicate that we are kept by 'grace' as well.

Except Yehova’s word doesn’t say that.
It says that we will be saved through faith, and that faith is enabled by the Grace of Yehova.
Nowhere does the Word say that Grace saves us.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

That verse says that we are to be saved through faith, not Grace.
Grace is what permitted us to receive the faith that will save us.

That verse says that we are to be saved through faith, not Grace. I daresay that one of us needs a new seeing eye dog!

The grace is Yehova giving us faith. The faith is what allows us to persevere to the end, resulting in salvation.
If your faith fails to endure to the end, there is no salvation.

Jacob's name comes from the event where he followed his twin brother Esau. Jacob was perfect while Esau was cunning. God loved Jacob but hated Esau. He had both names, Jacob and Israel in Genesis while he lived. Your maligning of Jacob cometh not of Him who calls.
