Ain’t it the truth!! I don’t remember how many times I was smacked with a ruler, but I do remember when one broke on my cheek.
I’ll keep my smart aleck comments to myself.
Lots of trivia.
i didn’t do that great but some of the questions have little to do with the church - like who commissioned the via della concilliazione - who cares?
I got 12 of 25 which is probably not too bad for a non-Catholic. I scored a lot better on the doctrinal issues than the geographical trivia.
D’oh! Only 48%.
I agree. Most questions had little to do with the Catholic Church from a religious or theological standpoint and were focused more on dispensing political factoids.
17 correct, 8 wrong, 68%. That was hard.
Not Catholic but did pretty well.
Your score:
17 Correct 8 Wrong You answered 17 of 25 questions correctly for a total score of 68%.
Lots of dumb questions that have nothing at all to do with the Faith, but all in all better than I would have expected from the CSM. Like I really care who made the current pope-mobile?
Protestant close to average score - 52%
Why?
Yes, it was hardly about the Catholic Faith at all, more “any detail concerning the Catholic Church as an institution.” I got the Popemobile question wrong, too.
So we all know now that you got at least that one wrong.
Now confess the rest of your failed sins.
actually i got that one correct.
Was there maybe one or two doctrinal questions?
Just a rather stupid test. I got 68%. The questions that I missed were of absolutely no significance to any Catholic. I am surprised they did not ask how many rooms are in Martha’s House where the Pope is residing.
Your score - 84%
And one of those questions might be wrong:
Height of St. Peter’s dome - 453’ (138 m)
Height of Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro’s dome - 158 meters (518 ft).
I wasn’t sure if they mean how “high the dome itself is” or how “high is the structure with a dome”. Either way the dome at the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro is higher than the one in Rome as far as I can tell.
