John 6:63 settles it once and for all for me. We all can create the Eucharist. When we give thanks for our food and share our table, we are fulfilling the command to “Do this in remembrance of me” in the way that it was truly intended. “My flesh is true food” ==> true food is my flesh, when we acknowledge where it came from and share it with others.

That works for me. I don’t want to discuss it. I’ve read all the arguments. I’m not trying to convince anybody

Leave the thread and don’t reply if you don’t want to discuss it.

Catholics are famous or should I say infamous for making scripture say what they want it to say.

For hundreds of years, Jews have partaken of the Passove; done in REMEMBERANCE of GOD's saving them from the Egyptian slavery that had them bound.

“Do this in remembrance of me” was an ASTONDISHING statement that jerked the chain of Judism away from the meal; to Whom it represented.

Thew Jews STILL have an empty chair at the table when they partake of Passover to this very day.

They STILL fail to realize that JESUS sits in it.
