Due to a perceived slight against homosexuality, Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk is in a fight for his career. The Lackland Air Force base first sergeant was told by his commanding officer to clear out his office on Aug. 9. The point of contention reportedly is not about anything Monk said, but what he refused to say.
"It's all because he didn't say anything wrong. He thought it," said Steven Branson, pastor of Village Parkway Baptist Church in San Antonio. Monk, his wife and their three teenage sons faithfully attend services each Sunday the pastor said.
Branson said he has been in touch with Monk since the sergeant told him Sunday (Aug. 11) of the untenable situation. The pastor said Monk feels abandoned by the institution he has served for 19 years. Deployed as a medic, Monk devoted himself to saving the lives of his fellow service men and women, according to his pastor.
"Now I'm in trouble," Monk told Branson, "and everybody's leaving me behind."

Hate to say it, but I have never liked having female commanders - every last one of them had some sort of twist that just didn’t sit right and which detracted from military professionalism and legal objectivity.
That’s a great account, and I remember reading it before.. it’d be a good editorial to run in the Army, Navy and Air Force Times. The modern, homo-friendly military had better get used to having Bradley Manning as the rule, not the exception.
True, but the godly people would be facing endless persecution and marginalization in uniform, serving the whims of a government gone rogue. At least outside of the military they’re in our communities.

They are running to homosexuality, too, because it is ever so fashionable. You get that in a culture that abjures marriage and scares off the men from marriage.

Collectively you are correct.
But I can’t conscience the people I know submitting themselves to moral slavery.
While it's good to find a good church where there is good teaching and support, God can be found without religion.
The good news is that He WANTS to have a relationship with us and reveal Himself to us.
Just ask Him. He will do it.

I agree. Putting women in those positions in the military has been a complete and utter disaster. But then again, feminizing, homosexualizing and Mohammedanizing the US military are all parts of the leftist goal to ultimately destroy it.
I work for a small company. I never talk about this issue at my job because I have what many today would a call a radical viewpoint, i.e., I actually focus on my actual work and little or nothing else. But if my boss who claims to be an actual churchgoing Christian actually asked me to voice an opinion on it, I would point back to what the Scripture says.

No matter what the say or do...queers are queer. Homos need to face the fact that they are queer.
Euphemistically called "Diversity and Inclusion Training." If they ask my opinion, I will have no problem expressing it.
I would tell them, “Of course we have diversity....Di Longer you Verk here, Diverse it gets.”
