Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Here is an update for all you dear, faithful FRiends who have been remembering my Mom in your prayers.
After weeks and weeks of painful, invasive tests at THREE DIFFERENT HOSPITALS, and after more than one doctor intimated that my Mom's pain was "all in her head", it has been discovered that she has a huge kidney stone that has been causing a BLOCKAGE! I can't even imagine the pain she has been going through, especially with nobody BELIEVING her! She goes into surgery Monday, (because the urologist doesn't work weekends) and will spend the weekend IN PAIN, because now they know she is allergic to painkillers.
I am SO angry about this that I am ready to eat nails and spit rust. I guess I need your prayers too, as wrath is not healthy for me.

We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.

For the LORD is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, for Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

May the Great Physician in Heaven give wisdom and a caring spirit to the your mother’s medical staff. May the God of all Comfort wrap you and your family in His blessed assurance.

Indeed it seems like the whole world is against the Peace of Jerusalem. But then I remember -

1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

7 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

8 Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;

10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,

Dear LORD, we ask for TENDER MERCY and COMFORTING GRACE to be with Mary Lou and her mom. OH LORD, so many times we need YOUR strength..but the times when we need YOUR GENTLE TOUCH are even more endearing…Thank YOU..Amen.
