“I said lds jesus, because he is not the Biblical Jesus, the two are completely different.”

This is what is known as assuming the consequent. You are “right” therefore your augments stand which prove you are right.

Sophistry does not prove you right, nor make for polite conversation.

Jesus did NOT “work his way to Godhood”, he is a member of the Godhead from before the earth was created for he was the creator of it. (From Eternity to all Eternity ring a bell?)

Mormonism teaches that Jesus paid the price from the garden to the cross, both were necessary parts of the atonement.

According to actual Mormon doctrine, without the grace of Jesus, all works are vain. In order to take advantage of Jesus’ atonement, we must obey the commandments that he gives us.

If all you have to do is believe, then why did Jesus tell us anything besides “believe”?

There is no “LDS Jesus”, only the Biblical Jesus, we just disagree about some of the interpretations of the bible.

Joseph Smith said that all other churches had been corrupted (I think all churches have said this at some point) and that without the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, there was no salvation.

“mormonISM does not teach a perfect gospel as in the Bible as they teach it was not translated correctly.”

LOL!
Let me make a simple statement of logic. IF the Bible was perfect and irrefutable and everyone understood it the same way, wouldn't there only be one Church?

The Catholic Bible has more books than the one used by Protestants, there are scriptures quoted by Jesus and the apostles that are not in the Bible, there are known translation errors in the bible.

“When lds says begotten, they are talking about intercourse between the lds god and Mary, you are aware of that correct?”

A) When you can't win in the arena of debate say something nasty is usually a liberal tactic. Mormons believe in the virgin birth (which means no sex with anyone)

B) The statement that we believe in Jesus being the “literal son of God”, it does not mean anything perverted.

IMHO, you have a dirty mind and Jesus will not be happy with anyone who impugns his mother's rigorousness.

Now, I have a question for you, since this has been asked and answered before (http://www.freerepublic.com/~delphiuser/#TheVirginMary) and it's repeated only for shock value, when does repeating a falsehood become lying for Jesus?

Delph

In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul stresses that Christ's death was of primary importance in the atonement. In 1 Corinthians 15:1-3 he wrote, "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

Paul doesn't state that "that Christ SWEATED for our sins

Alright, now if the Jesus who Mormons believe in is the same Jesus that all the other Christians believe in, then why do we require the Mormon gospel for salvation? What requirements are laid out in the Mormon gospel which you believe, I suppose, have been removed or altered from the gospel that was given to the rest of us? In other words, is Christ sufficient to save us, or do the Mormons teach that we need “Christ plus”? (Christ plus baptism, Christ plus works, what have you)
