Thank you for sharing this!
Yes, than you for this story. What this woman was thinking going back into that warzone, I have no idea.
Beautiful testimony!
Thanks Tailgunner Joe.
Love these stories. Sends chills up my spine ... thanks for posting.
“I tell the traditional Christians that worshipping saints is not good; you have to worship God.”
The Evangelicals are teaching her some truth and some ignorance at the same time. They have convinced her that veneration is adoration.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen to our wonderful Savior.
Thank you! This is the only way to overcome Islam, although many converts will be killed.
Thanks for posting this.
A friend of mine is very Jewish. Grew up in a Jewish family, attended Jewish School, married Jewish, children attending a Jewish School. She is pretty famous, written several books, been on Opra as well as many other shows...
She had a NDE (near death experience) and met Jesus. She shared her experience with me as she knows that I am Christian, but has never told her husband or anyone else. She said that she has no doubt about Jesus, but is not ready to cause all the trouble in her family.
I think the key here is 'worship', to worship a saint is to give what is rightly God's to another.
As Revelation 22 says:
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me. But he said to me, Dont do that! Im a servant just like you and your brothers and sisters, the prophets, and those who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!
I met Him in a near death experience too.
Hallelujah!!!
I heard a story of a church in the USA having several Iranian(?) families suddenly start attending--all because each of the men separately, the same night...had dreams of Jesus telling them to go to that church. All were decent God-fearing Muslims, and had never had any interaction with Christianity.
Reminds me of the story of the first Gentile Christian:
At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, Cornelius!Cornelius stared at him in fear. What is it, Lord? he asked.
The angel answered, Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. (Acts 10:1-5)
Ping.
Yeah....what a lesson that we ALL need to learn!
Thanks, Joe, for posting this!!!
Great Article, He will show his presence to those he loves. He will rein for ever.
Perhaps what the lady is seeing looks like adoration to her. When you come to know Jesus, you find you don’t need any other interceders.
