I just remembered something...
SD used to parrot things we would say about Jesus and who He is and about a relationship with Him...
She could get the “I loved Him and Hes my Savior” bit
but every time I asked her if she knew for sure if He loved her I would get CRICKETS
what a lonely horrible way to have to go through life

being dependant on what a man the husband thought of her and not what God thought..
She often quoted her husband as saying this to tell us or the other...

Dave, you haven't a clue. First and foremost is the complete redefinition of the person of Jesus into just another 'god' among a plethora of gods and the foundation of a works based salvation.

I wonder sometimes if those who claim salvation comes after all that you can do are not actually letting us know that they believe they are smarter or more powerful than satan and need less saving because they’re so adept at winning over the most evil being ever? It does seem an awfully arrogant position to take, to presume one can be good enough to make God beholden to them to save them.
Well, when is desperate to become worthy, despite the fact that God never considers us worthy, you delude yourself into believing you are greater than God views, which means you are deluded in direct contravention to the exclusion of any normal reality.

I was talking to a friend who prayed about the Election and that Mitt Romney would win. She said the same thing Maybe God said no to Mitt. I don’t know but I’m sure God does. My favorite saying is “If God brought you to it, he will bring you through it” I love the Lord and I trust him and his will for me and our Country as a whole. Maybe we have a lesson to learn I just wish it was more clear to me what that lesson is.
My mormon family prayed and fasted for days for Romney’s win because they believed he was the fulfillment of the WHP, needless to say they are not doing well right now.
So, are you excited that a Mormon didn’t get the Presidency?
