Prayers were requested previously, 7/10 however, on that day the surgery was bumped for a a more critical case. So Friday is the day that Brittany, Ingtar's daughter of 19 year's of age, will go under brain surgery. Please help Ingtar's daughter, Brittany, and Ingtar get through this evening and tomorrow's surgery with our prayers.
Prayers offered up. God bless all involved.
Prayers continuing.
Woke up at 4:50 AM and talked with the LORD again about this. Slept and woke again at 7 AM and was thinking that probably then Brittany is now being healed by the neurosurgeomn and team, with Our LORD guiding.
May Brittany hold up well and have a healing sleep after. Let her thoughts and speech come back soon. Let Britanny's heart be completely given over to The Savior from now on, for ever. Yours, too.
Lord God Jesus Christ, be with Thy servant Brittany through her surgery, guide the hand of the surgeon and heal her completely, and give comfort to her family.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Prayers for Brittany, who is being prepped as I write. May He steady the hands of her surgeons and help them remove all of the invasive tissue. Through Christ Our Lord.
Prayers for God’s blessings on all.
Praying for Brittany, and your family!
Would you keep us informed? What is Brittany’s time zone? It’s now 4:49 PM in mine — EDT
The surgery lasted 5 1/2 hours, a little longer than the range that was quoted. Along with the defect she was repairing, the Christian surgeon found a small cyst in B’s brain that was blocking fluid flow. In all her years of doing these, this was a first. With the work and the removal of the cyst (invisible to the MRIs), she should finally have her life back. She is facing a lot of pain and some nausea now, so please continue praying for her. We appreciate this very much. She smiled when I mentioned y’all to her.
Thank you for the update. We will continue prayers.
Praying for Brittany to feel improvement each day and that her pain will lessen.
Thank you for the update. Our prayers continue for Brittany, yourself, the family and medical staff.
Praise be to God!
I’m in Barlett. If I can do anything to help let me know by freepmail.

I looked at the clock, and it seemed like it took a very long time for the second hand to go halfway around the clock. The time almost stood still. I closed my eyes, and I thought I waited for hours patiently, but only four or five minutes had passed when I opened my eyes again.
The things of the world were just gone for a while, and the was only myself and the presence of the Lord - a very precious existnce with Him, with no passage of time. It seemed that passing through the night might have taken years -- something never to be forgotten. But there was no fear, only feeling the world was gone and being in the Lord's presence and care. Pray that Brittany can have the knowledge of He that controls time and your being, and comes back with great comfort through the night, resting in Him.
Pray also for the surgeon to regain from the exhaustion of his labor, and for the anesthetist, also who has to watch many things all that time very focused on the knife-edge that separates physical life and death.
I am so glad Brittany has come through this insult to her poor head. Keep on thanking the Lord Who has guided the hands and supplied the strength and steadiness of her surgeon. Pray also for te nurses and technicians who will be watching over her closely in the NCU in these minutes and hours. May Brittany linger for a little while in sweet fellowship with the Lord, and may He comfort her mightily.
May the Lord also give you and spouse confident rest, Ingtar. When you get a chance, let Brittany know she is not alone in having to go through this, but I know no one can do this for her. I pray also for all her meds to be balanced just right, and also that she can take some food pretty soon!
She probably has some special stockings and "leg-squeezers" on to help keep he blood circulating. I hope they are adjusted to be comfortable while she is starting to heal up right away.
With much care and joy in the Lord for her bright future --
It might be nice to meet a fellow FReeper some time. The local homeschool community has things covered. It is what I like to call the “old lady” support network. (Old lady in that it is wives...) Thank you for the offer.
Rejoicing with you and continuing in prayer that all will be amazed at the quickness in total healing :)
Glad to know that you have community support. Are you with Gateway home school? My offer still stands if I can help.
Maria
Yes. My wife was heavily involved in the support group and did some science teaching on the side.
Prayers for your daughter’s quick recovery.
Keeping your daughter and family in my prayers. Praying for a smooth recovery. Glad the surgeon was able to help her.
