And as much as I hate to credit the MSM, and particularly O'Donnell, I cannot find anything in his rant that is inaccurate, other than the number of wives Joseph Smith claimed. O'Donnell says 48, but I believe the most consistent number put forward by historians is 27. On the other hand, Brigham Young claimed 56 wives, so O'Donnell is certainly within range.

Sorry but people are taking the anti-Willard stuff way too far now. It sucks he is going to be the nominee, but continuing to attack him is effectively helping the left and doing the Democrats job for them.

I fought this battle before. Half my family is subject to Her Majesty, and I see how David Cameron has destroyed the once great party of Lady Thatcher.

Romney’s Mormonism is as insidious a danger to the American people as Obama’s lean towards Islam. Although the press isn’t doing this to protect America, they are doing, unwittingly, the American public a great service by exposing Morminism and thus Romney. I, for one, am glad to see it happen. At least some lasting good can come out of the mistake of allowing Romney to be the GOP candidate.
Apparently, you just haven’t beem listening to many folks on this forum. WE WILL NOT ALLOW A ROMNEY CANDIDANCY TO GO UNCHALLENGED EVEN IN A GENERAL ELECTION. It is NOT in the best long term interests of conservatism or the United States of America.
Obama is an obvious evil....he shows more of it each day with attacks on the Constitution. Romney will be just as evil, but in an insidious way. Supporting either is unacceptable. Thus, rebellion against both is necessary.
Maybe, just maybe, the powers that be in the RNC will get the message.
Be advised, that I for one, will not ever stop bashing Romney even IF he is the the GOP’s nominee. He is no better for America than Obama, and could possible be worse because the GOP members of Congress will feel compeled to follow the fools leading. While it would be a great relief to be rid of Obama....I know in my soul that Romney would be even worse....but it wouldn’t be as obvious and would be harder to correct.
So, get used to it. There are MANY of us that are extremely upset and we aren’t going to “chill” or go away. No insults leveled at us will stop us....it will just make us more determined to fight on, and fight harder. Romney has to go, just as Obama does.

True, but JFK was a Catholic in name only, whereas Romney is a real full blown Mormon.
Like I keep telling folks, this isn’t going to get a pass. Obama is an OBVIOUS evil, Romney is JUST as evil, but in an insidious way. Both don’t belong sitting in the office of POTUS.
Because if you have been through one of these elections before, the MSM does not have to resort to lies to destroy a candidate among independents when truth is on its side.
Why was Santorum destroyed in his last senate race? Because he backed Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey.

The last position I read from Jim Thompson seemed open-ended about Romney in the general election.
Last I read the site is strongly, emphatically “NO ROMNEY”, but I don’t think I’ve seen any position as to where we go as far as the position of this site, if / when Romney against all that is good and right in this world, wins the nomination.
Obama will very likely, once no longer restrained by the need for re-election, tear the Constitution into tiny bits of paper, and may even seize power a la Hugo Chavez.

Romney, for all his faults, is nowhere near the risk to America, another Obama term would be.

Wrong. Romney will, at best, pick a David Souter. That doesn’t help anyone. He cannot be trusted in the office anymore than Obama. Plus, if he makes a bad appointment, the GOP members of the senate will feel compeled to endorse it. At least Obama’s appointments are obvious epic failures to will be resisted.
Also, you don’t get it friend. Insults, like “crying to momma”, won’t work. I just toss you on the same pile of trash as Obama and Romney. Both are unacceptable choices.
