What if their priest is more interested in presenting the “social gospel” instead of THE gospel?

That would account for a lot of it. Bad shepherding.

that would be a diocese-wide problem here.

But even our liberal bishop signed that letter of protest.

If he had signed a letter of protest about some obscure military or economic action of our government - you could be sure that would have been a hot topic of discussion.

Now maybe I missed the righteous anger over this power grab - and maybe someone simply hasn’t told me about it.

Or....there isn’t any righteous anger.
