Scott is still fighting on however he has suffered a significant setback and is facing the added complications associated with shingles. It’s likely that the infection in his lung is still not under control and there is a developing scarcity of the anesthetics that have been found to be most effective.
On the upside his kidneys are operating at 100%
Wednesday he opened his eyes briefly and caught me quietly praying the Rosary, Scott suddenly brightened up and nodded his head vigorously, yes. If you are in the habit of praying the Rosary, please remember to include Scott in your intentions. If you have ever considered learning to pray the Rosary, on Scott’s behalf I humbly request that you make an attempt during this Lenten season.

I understand shingles is very painful, so not what Scott needs right now. Can’t they get the meds that work for Scott shipped out to HI? Is there scarcity nationwide?
