Tiapam has been a Freeper since December, 2009; Cardhu has been a Freeper since July, 2005. Please remember them in your prayers.
I talked to Yorkie tonight; she is in ICU with serious non-lifethreating injuries.
She has many broken and crushed bones on her right side. She will need lots of therapy and lots of prayers.
Please say a prayer for Tiapam's and Cardhu's families and friends.
Yorkie is in urgent need of prayers for both physical and emotional healing. She and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years.
She saw the angels and lights in the photos that her son took? This is interesting. I have heard of this type of thing before.
Well, God bless her. I will pray for her daily. I know that it's going to be a tough road back for her with therapy, so we will need to keep those prayers going until she is back with us again.
That doesn’t matter, the need to talk is what is most important at that time. I am sure you both were very upset but through that communication you both gained strength. Just like when you converse with Yorkie. The only way to face this is through conversation, everyone has a need to cry and that’s ok. Your crying on each others shoulders and that alone is comforting. You comfort each other and remember this, when 2 or more are you are gathered in HIS name, there is LOVE! My screen getting blurry.
Love and Hugs to you all.
How tragic! Prayers for Yorkies complete recovery.
Jaycee, it will give her great comfort when she gets a chance to see how she and Pam and Cardhu were loved.
I know she was so happy to talk to you...someone who understands....
(((hugs)))
As is mine. I think there have been a lot of blurry screens in FR these past couple days. It's hard saying goodbye to such good people when they are taken from us so suddenly. And it's hard to see a good friend suffering.
Love and hugs backatcha, cuzzin Rus.
It’s been tough here for the past month. My wife Juls Uncle Jerry, sister in laws mother then Juls brother all suddenly. Was a sad Christmas. Now starting off the year with this news, it’s all just heartbreaking.
Thank you for the update on yorkie, jaycee.
For the past couple months she has been lifting me up in prayer due to my situation and now, I have been lifting her up in prayer also, even as I drove across town to the lab for another test. Didn’t close my eyes to pray but God just loves to hear our voices raised to him with thanksgiving, praise and prayer request.
I’m so sorry Yorkie! For the loss of FRiends and your injuries! You are in my prayers!
Prayers up also for the families of Cardhu and Tiapam. I don’t think I met Tiapam, but Cardhu was a lovely person.
Thanks for the ping Darks, TC and Face.
You could very well be correct.
I have a theory of the events surrounding the death of children, particularly in the case of violent circumstances. It includes angels and the maker's ability to suspend time as He chooses. It would probably make a good short story if not already published.
Have nice weekend!
So, the year can only better, right? Let us pray it will!
She is trying to stay as positive as possible. She's a strong lady. However, pain does take its toll. She wants everyone to know how much she appreciates their prayers and well wishes and the love she has for FR. I assured her we will not give up the prayers being sent her way.
Rehab will be an exhausting experience but she will heal physically, eventually. I'm very thankful her injuries weren't any worse than they are. Emotionally, I'm sure, will take somewhat longer.
So very sad.
And poor Yorkie. :-(
Thank you for the update.
Hugs and Prayers for Yorkie.
Somehow, I knew it was Cardy who was unbelted and ejected.
*sigh*
It has been so hard to understand this, Randy. I know Yorkie will smile when she sees your beautiful flowers. It was a lovely time we had with her and Pam.
I just heard!
What a tragedy!
I will be praying and am glad she is alive!
How horrible.
God Bless you Yorkie. We are praying for your recovery.
Rest in Peace Tiapam and Cardhu.
Your phone call will be better medicine than anything the doctors could give her! Thanks for sharing that with us!
She told me that in the photo, they were all on the side of the highway the accident happened. The other side had nothing. The pix were taken last night.
Thanks Luv...but I have to admit, it was good medicine for me as well. That ‘knowing first hand’ put me a little more at ease than I was previously. :)
