The Most Important Video About Israel You'll Ever See!

Excellent, awesome video about the way God has kept His promises to the Jewish people, how He has kept them distinctly His people even through the diaspora, how He brought them back into the land He gave them, and fulfilled His promise to re-establish them as a nation.

A must see!!

Didn’t that “Jesus” guy kind of mess up the Jewish interpretation of God’s Promise?

I'll address your question, but remember this is a thread for Bible-believing Christians and any anti-Semitic replacement theology remarks will be reported to the RM.

Let me ask you a question. At what point did that "Jesus" guy nullify and void out the promises He made to His chosen people, the Jews?

Where does the Bible say that Jesus Christ broke any promises He made to Israel?

It was a bit tongue in cheek but that issue is always out there especially in terms of Scripture.

If you bring up God’s Promises, you HAVE to note He fulfilled them all in sending His Son.

That isn’t antisemitism — it is theological discussion.

>>No, He fulfilled their Scriptures as the coming Messiah.

Many of them realized Who He was. That is why it started there.<<

That is my point — I guess it is dicey business...

I was born with a love for Israel. One of the most beautiful sounds is to hear someone say “Israel” one night at a night club I was asked out by two men (true story). I accepted a future date with the Israeli. I turned down the Arab. He told me the Israeli would be VERY VERY mean.
I am so glad I followed my instincts.

Thru him I tried to learn the Hebrew language. Learn about the culture, its people. As a Christian I will stand lock step for Israel. My Savior is a Jewish carpenter

For months, polls showed Obama languishing at about 60 percent of the Jewish vote, a critical chunk short of the 75 percent or so Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) garnered in 2004. But exit polls from the Tuesday election showed Obama matching those results, garnering about 78 percent of the Jewish vote against 22 percent for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), his Republican rival.

There's no can of worms. The fact is is that God created a race of people from one man for the purpose of bringing forth the Savior into the world and for blessing the nations and God makes it crystal clear throughout the Scripture that those people created from Abraham, the Jewish people, are His chosen people and the apple of His eye.

Gentiles, with the exception of those who have chosen to be grafted onto the vine that is for the Jews first by accepting Christ as Savior, are never referred by God as His people. It is God Who chose the Jews, it is God Who offers salvation to the Jews first, it is God Who will give His chosen people exalted positions of priests and rulers in his Millennial Kingdom, and it is God Who promises that all Israel will be saved.

The fact is that God chose the Jews and the fact is is that He is not finished with them and sill has plans for them. Take any problems you have with that up with Him.

It is impossible to not have a deep, inexplicable love for Israel and the Jewish people and truly be a born-again believer in Christ.

LOL- it's a good thing you went with the Israeli - at least you didn't have to worry about having a blanket thrown over your head the minute you were out of the house!

Thank God He didn't condition any of His promises to the Jews on their momentary voting habits in the 21st century!!

Since we know from Scripture that the Jews are currently partially blinded spiritually, and we know that the day will come when that blindness will be lifted, and we know that God will bring His people back into a relationship with Him, we know that the Jewish people who happen to be liberal and vote for liberals at this moment in time won't forever be burdened with the deception that everyone who votes for liberals suffers from.

To: GiovannaNicoletta; marbren
I just do not understand why people won't believe that God says what He means and means what He says. I've included you marbren, because of our earlier conversation. Perhaps what I'm saying here will bring it more together for you.

Just for a moment, take Paul completely out of the BIble. Every time his name is mentioned, every Epistle, every letter he wrote, every mention of him and his message. What is left? We have the OT, prophecies concerning Israel and her being a Nation of priests and a blessing to all nations. (Gentiles). We have the prophecies of a Messiah who would come to set up His Kingdom in Jerusalem, and rule this world for 1000 years. We have the promise He made Peter and the 11 that they would sit upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel when Christ sets up His Millenial Kingdom. We have Christ instructing Peter and the 11 to go into all nations and spread the gospel of the Kingdom, BEGINNING at Jerusalem. We have His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to sit on the right hand of God until His enemies are made a footstool. We have the warning that God's wrath will be poured out on an unbelieving world before Christ returns. We have Peter standing up on the day of Pentecost preaching the message that he and the 11 were given by Christ.

We have Peter and the 11 speaking to WHO in Acts 2 and 3? Please note who they were speaking to. To Jews and Gentiles? NO. To the Nation Israel. And also note, were they preaching the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again for our justification and salvation? NO. They were NOT preaching the gospel of the grace of God. Please read the first part of Acts prayerfully and see WHO they were speaking to and WHAT they were speaking of.

Then we have the stoning of Stephen, in Acts 8. Stephen says he saw Christ STANDING on the right hand of GOd. Is this important? First He was sitting, now He was STANDING. You bet it's important. Standing means JUDGEMENT. Judgement was about to fall on Israel. The wrath of God was about to be poured out. But exactly WHY? First, the Jews ALLOWED the murder of John the Baptist. Second, they DEMANDED the murder of Jesus Christ. Third, they MURDERED Stephen themselves. Strike three for Israel.

But judgement does NOT fall. (Acts 9 through Philemon). But we are going to leave Paul out of this discussion for now.

Without the rest of Acts, Paul, and Romans through Philemon, the next happening would be in Hebrews. Notice who the Book is written to: THE HEBREWS. Israel again. Same with the next Book: James: TO THE TWELVE TRIBES SCATTERED ABROAD. And on and on until the end of the Book of Revelation. God dealing with Israel, gathering her together, His wrath falling, tribulation saints going into the Millenial Kingdom, Christ's 2nd coming, setting up His Kingdom, Peter and the 11 judging the twelve tribes of Israel, and Israel becoming a Nation of Priest and a blessing to all nations (Gentiles) during the Millenial Reign of Christ.

See the uniformity of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. From Abraham to Moses to David to Christ. All the covenants made with the nation Israel fully fulfilled.

The only part missing from this is Paul. His message from the risen Christ. The Church the Body of Christ. The gospel of the grace of God. The rapture. The mystery hid in God. Without Paul, NONE of this is evident. Gentile's blessings before the dispensation of grace were all dependant on the RISE of Israel. Gentile's blessing AFTER the dispensation of grace ends is through the RISE of Israel, once again. Only during the dispensation of grace are OUR blessing dependant on the FALL of Israel. Her temporary blindness. And that is found ONLY in Paul's God-given Scriptures. That, too is for a reason. But I've gone on too long for now. ;)

If you bring up God’s Promises, you HAVE to note He fulfilled them all in sending His Son.

Really? I must disagree with you. There are many prophecies yet to be fulfilled which will be fulfilled in Gods due time. The judgements on the unbelievers during the tribulation as described in The book of Revelation is but one of many. The 70th week of Daniel is another of many. Chapters 37 to 48 of Ezikiel are but another. The davidic and abrahamic convenants are yet to be fulfilled. And this chapter of Zechariah, when was it fulfilled.

Zechariah 14 1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. 6And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. 8And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. 10All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. 11And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. 12And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. 13And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour. 14And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. 15And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague. 16And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. 17And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. 18And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 20In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
