There too busy trying to find what’s not there....and looking for it in equally all the wrong places....interesting their searching sites which oppose their faith rather than go to the sources referenced....once again proving most are not interested in defending their beliefs. Maybe because they can’t?

>> Maybe because they can’t?<<

What other conclusion can one infer? Every time I’ve seen that tactic used no substantive refutation is ever forthcoming.

Read Jude & the associated portion of Numbers. Anyone who is just making up their own religion and believes in the heresy of "priesthood of all believers" isn't going to let any Scripture they're shown make any difference, they're a heretic, they are following heresy into the worship of their own intellect, and given that they reject and do not participate in the Eucharist, they have on life in them and are too blind to understand Scripture. Telling such folks anything at all is just casting pearls before swine.

have a nice day

Mark....they are in his book. ...author, page, book referenced.

Why are you reading books from the 1700s by Catholic Saints? Did you inherit a collection?

I just find it very difficult to believe that you read the book and assembled a list of quotes from a 300 year old writing. And that those quotes which you copied from the pages you noted just happened to support an anti-Catholic position.

But, I’m sure protestants ALWAYS tell the truth. /sarc

What concerns me is what is pulled out; does that change the meaning? And the fact that you have not actually referenced the website where you pulled these from is of note as well.

Yeah, Mark, they’re in the book. Read the book. Caww posted exerpts from the book, which caww claims to have read. No doubt owns an antique copy. Certainly didn’t get it from cut n paste anti-Catholic website. That’s just an ugly coincidence.

For what ever reason they remain stuck in a rut of thier own spinning now. What’s so hard about going to their authors book, which was referenced by page? instead the “ant-catholic” virus has swept them into its funnel and thus the spinning. ...round and round they go.

Will wait until the “anti-catholic” virus has let go of it’s grip on you guys and you are well enough to respond to the quotes given by him.

You have been answered more then adequately by boatbums on that. Anyone with a hunger for truth could see what scripture has to say. Don’t try to promote that nonsense to me again.

Well you know what you can do to find that out....but the meaning is quite clear as quoted.

Look, it’s no secret you guys go to anti-Catholic websites. It’s no secret that you launder stuff from forbidden sites through those that are still acceptable. Why don’t you just admit what you ALL do? Are you ashamed? When someone has lied, it’s almost impossible to admit it and own the deed.

Not our problem. We don’t believe lies. Just like the “I was raised Catholic and the nuns were mean to me” meme, it is so transparent as to be laughable.

Why not tell me the website that you pulled your quotes from?

Okay. I have the text from: http://www.archive.org/stream/thegloriesofmary00liguuoft/thegloriesofmary00liguuoft_djvu.txt

Your quote from page 160 does not appear on page 160.

Your quote from page 80 mixes the section title with the text.

Your quote from pages 82-83 leaves out the most important part: Then she will certainly pray her Son that he may pardon thee

Your quote from page 169 does not appear on page 169. It however in part quotes Justinian but as a statement and not as a question.

Your quote from pages 180-181 does not appear on those pages.

I would suggest that perhaps in the future that you read the actual source material rather than quoting antiCatholic websites without even acknowledging them. The quotes are taken out of context or simply made up.

Jvette already posted that she found the exact stuff from caww’s post on an anti-Catholic website, with the exact same elipses and punctuation. Clearly cut and pasted.

So it is not surprising that you have found that caww’s anti-Catholic website has several inaccurate quote just in those few sections. Heaven forbid there should be more examples. That’s why it is impossible to trust anything they post here.

Thanks for going to the trouble. Anyone lurking can see what was done. I’m not accusing anyone of lying, but for heaven’s sake, can’t the anti-Catholics just admit what they are? It’s like they’re ashamed of themselves...
