A notoriously 'gay-friendly' parish in San Francisco has invited an openly homosexual Episcopalian cleric to lead an Advent Vespers service.
Most Holy Redeemer parish asked Bishop Otis Charles, a retired Episcopalian prelate, to lead the November 30 service. After serving as the Bishop of Utah from 1971 to 1993, he publicly announced that he is homosexual. Divorced from the mother of his 5 children, he solemnized a same-sex union in 2004.
Yes...it does appear so in so many ways...but very difficult to accept that after so long of Christ’s outreach to them...His inclusion of them....yet they remain more distant than ever before as they now begin the march, with the others, toward a one world religion.
They have been warned about this unification of faiths....but have not take heed...rather they scramble about, as with other leaders of these large organizations, for the leadership rolls which will be held once the time comes.
The problem is as stated in my posts...it's quite clear. But I'll also say I'm not so certain the Mary you worship is the same Mary Jesus speaks of as His mother..or the same Mary Christians know and about her. I say so because the catholic churches depictions of her are as numerous as the days in many years...ever changing...and not even clearly the "mother of god" until some Pope or whatever... determined she needed elevation to appease the pagans among them at the time.......so she's "become" whatever the latest Pope or Romes leadership determins she become at the time.
Additionally when you go into other nations and see that catholic churches there can and do incorporate their pagan beliefs and rituals into the catholic services because they see them as exactly the same....well one sould give pause on why they see her as so.....moreso why Rome doesn't address the issue with the natives and such who do that. Like in allowing the Homosexual issue to be "hidden" in plain sight...so too these pagan practices concerning mary.
Of course we also know the catholic church makes money off from these idols of mary...and people give genrously when they have the parades featuring her....so she's a revenue enhancement to the faith...and they fully know this.
In all honesty Jesus did say “are you so slow of learning”....so yes they had difficulty at times understanding His meanings....concerning that time i can see why after being indoctrinated as Jewish...or pagan...for the crowds who heard. But one thing we know...it is much easier for someone who as had no catholic instruction to understand the Christian truths as Christ taught us.... than those who do.
Oh how Satan would love people to believe that. God called Israel His wife.
Isaiah 54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
God did forsake her for a time but has promised to bring her back. His promises to Israel are forever.
Isaiah 54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. 9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. 10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Then He promises what Israels heritage shall be.
Isaiah 54:11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. 12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. 13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. 14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
The lies of Satan will not prevail and Israel has the eternal promises of God. Those who spread the lies of Satan will certainly experience the wrath of God.
The church is the bride of Christ the only begotten Son of God.
Do you deny that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are also separate?
RZ.....are you truly serious?
No doubt Jesus would not have made such statements is speaking to the crowds He was inviting to learn from Him.....do you realize how “educated” you appear to write and yet are lacking in any desire for the very people you are judging in attracting them to Christ Himself?
Revelation 21:6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
It's all about Jesus and only about Jesus.
If it's about anyone or anything but Jesus it isn't CHRISTianity.

CHRISTIANS KNOW JESUS CHRIST IS GOD.
Jehovah Witnesses don’t reject the Divinity of Jesus.
IT’S SAD.
Do you deny that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are also separate?
Christians believe in ONE GOD in three seperate persons.
answer a question for me if you would be so kind:
Romans 11:26 says “and all Israel shall be saved”
who is Israel in that passage?
Are their three unique persons in the one Godhead?
Christ could have appeared from the clouds, He did not. He could have come from a rock; He did not. The Word was God and the Word became flesh. Not out of nowhere, but born of a woman. This is how Christ came into this world. This means something. It defines who Christ is. Without the Incarnate Word, there is no true Christian theology of the Most Holy Trinity. This is integral to the Christian Faith concerning who Jesus is.
If we do not approach the Christ of the Most Holy Trinity with this in mind, we are not of the Christian faith, but of some heresy of the second, third or fourth or twenty-first century.
Further People saved, and not, do not need lessons or instructions about Mary.
You do not know who Christ is if you don't know who Mary is.
Salvation thru Jesus Christ
is more than saying a name. Gnostics, Arians, Nestorians all taught salvation through Christ, but it was not the true Christ, not the Christ of the Incarnate Word. It was a different Christ and a different Mary. You cannot separate them and still have the Incarnate Word of the true Christian Faith.
As Jvette put it; Mary is who she is because her Son is who He is. As I said in the beginning: beneath every deficient Mariology is a deficient Christology.
This is what many, those who for reasons they cannot explain cannot even say the words "Mary is the mother of God" need instruction in, most particularly those who ignorantly condemn what they think is the Catholic faith.
Make up your own Christian faith, create your own theology if you wish, call it Trinitarian without the most basic understanding of what it is - if you wish.
But you are on your own and nothing you come up with changes what Christ is, what He taught and what the Church has always taught and defended against all heresies past and present.
And Evangelicals put other people between themselves and God when they ask other people to pray for them.
Sounds like idolatry to me. (Sarc.)
That is a most succinct way to put it. Very well done. Thank you.
whoops, remove the word “don’t” from 3151.
JW’s REJECT the Divinity of Jesus Christ.
They are not Christian.
Wait... what?
The holy Spirit, Can't handle the job Himself? He needs Mary's help to do that?
Who knew that God wasn't up to the job?
John 16:7-15 7Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; 11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
12"I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
Why did Jesus name Simon, Rock?
Show me where the Church has replaced God with Peter rather than obeying the Word who said, “Thou art rock and upon this rock, I will build my church.”
So your Jesus is two separate individuals?
Do you deny that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are also separate?
>>The question sounds awfully Tritheistic to me.
