Most Protestants and Catholics for that matter aren't schooled about the ancient heresies of the Church the way Orthodox Christians and Eastern Catholics are. Note that Baptist controversialists trace their lineage through every heresy that ever cropped up in Church history.

Baptists are Docetists when it comes to the Eucharist. Donatists when it comes to Baptism and their claim that only the worthy belong to the Church. Nestorian in their denial that Mary is the Mother of God. Arian in their denial that the Church has both divine and human attributes just like Jesus. Iconoclast in their views about icons and sacred art.

RZ.....are you truly serious?

No doubt Jesus would not have made such statements is speaking to the crowds He was inviting to learn from Him.....do you realize how “educated” you appear to write and yet are lacking in any desire for the very people you are judging in attracting them to Christ Himself?

That is a most succinct way to put it. Very well done. Thank you.

Come on now, each and every protestant here has come with everything they think all on their own. They have learned nothing from others, even how to read. God gave them a Bible on the day they were born, taught them how to read it, and interprets it for them.

Get with the program.

One is allowed to interpret the Bible however they want, as long as it is in opposition to the Church.

In other words, the Baptists are the closet thing to the church found in scripture than any other group...

And they're bad because they claim only the worthy belong to the church...And of course, you say differently...

Only worthy Baptists belong to the church but unworthy Catholics belong to the church, the Body of Jesus Christ, the Bride of Jesus...

If I was you, I wouldn't leave my chair...I wouldn't dare go anywhere for fear something would happen to me before I got saved...

You need a bible and a lot of praying...To Jesus...
