The “magic underwear” can be itchy, especially for us heavier guys. But they are sold in other materials, including this mesh stuff that is not itchy or warm, but is way to slippery for me.
The tops don't go down to the elbows. In fact, the women's tops barely have a sleeve at all, and in the “drysilk” model the sleeves tend to roll up to the shoulder.
If the bridal dress covers the garments, then nothing else is required. It is the folks that try to serve God and mammon that have to use an insert in their wedding dress to meet the decency standards.
Can't speak to the bra thing. I have seen both options used.
