Why do you think God creates those that He knows are going to be Mormons? Why do you think He created John Smith, knowing what was going to happen?
For the same reason your parents birthed you, not knowing how you might turn out...one who glorifies God? Or one who glorifies self???
Even so. Just as your parents thought you were worth the "risk," I would say you are a person of great value (to God, to others). Therefore, it's all been "worth" it.
Mormons are of great value, of great worth -- to the Ultimate God and to others. Just because they do not recognize or worship this Ultimate God (they say their god was once a man exalted to the position of god), doesn't diminish their dignity & value & worth.
And if you're a parent, you can understand this. Certainly, other parents on this forum can relate as well. Parents of children who have gone off the deep end (substance abuse wise or spiritually) will often tell you, "Yes, it was still all worth it. To give birth to such a baby; to raise that baby in love; and to watch him or her develop."
What is true of us as parents is certainly true of Father-God, who knows more omniscient-wise and sovereign-wise than we could ever forecast about our own children.
I’m curious: could you explain how it is that you rationalize your inference that since God can know what you will do that God is responsible for your actions?
Why do you ask these questions; KNOWING that no one is going to play with you?
Why do you think He created John Smith, knowing what was going to happen?
Hecky Frak!!
Won't SOMEone read GOD's mind and tell Stu the ANSWER?
Why do you think He created John Smith, knowing what was going to happen?
