I have never been a Mormon, I have never read the book of Mormon
So mod, is this a personal attack now or what? or is it ok for me to be attacked but not others?
It doesn’t need to be his show. And he should be able to defend his faith. A faith not worth defending is a faith not worth having.
I’m not nearly as confrontational as I appear. Again you are judgeing. You don’t know me. I maintain plenty of conversations with Mormons, although I get sick of people like you who think we can hug them and reach them. All that does is reinforce their view that they are Christians. Rather than reaching them, they start to see you as a target, an opportunity for conversion.
I had plenty of friends who adopted your stance when I was LDS, I liked them, but I didn’t respect them because they didn’t stand up for their faith. Rather I saw them as people I could get to convert to Mormonism, no matter how hard they said they were happy with their religion. They were weak to me and to other Mormons.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t reach those who reject HIM.
Hugs don’t work with Mormons. Glen Beck is NOT my brother in Christ, no non-believer is.
Again, get back to me when you have actually spent 20 years in ministry to Mormons. Until then you have no clue.

However, I do agree that Beck is Anti-Christ - just because I know the ‘christ’ he believes in and it is not Christ at all.
Between Husband and Wife, you have to be Blunt.
To beat around the bush is to put your marriage at risk, if only this conversation would have happened before you were married.
Communication is a two way street, why don’t you look up the steps to communication.
Maybe then you will be able to converse with a Mormon and get him to rejoin the flock.

I can tell you what my mormon cousins have said “we are encouraged not to tell everything, it is ok to miss lead if necessary.”
I haven’t ever seen a direct confrontation work on a believing Mormon.

And how many times have you seen anything work on a Mormon?? How many ex-mo’s do you know? How many hours, days, weeks, years have you spent ‘in the treches’?? Tell me.
If a guy stayed Mormon to please his parents and attended, he wasn’t a Christian at all.
How many LDS meetings have you sat through? There is no way a Christian could sit through them and pretend, not for very long anyway.

My lds uncle (former bishop) calls me a primitive and laughs, I would call that making fun of. I know that lds make fun of Christians, when I lived with my lds aunt and uncle for a time, it happened in their services, it happened in their Sunday School, it happened in their woman’s meetings. Yep, it happened.
I am just not one of those people that see an anti-christ under every bush.
I think when the Anti-Christ shows up, he is going to have some serious authority as described in the Book of Revelations.

I am most concerned with the parallel of what is happening with our currency. If you look at it, it is very much a concern.
We could get to the point where Obama is asking us to submit to a global government to enable our currency to be able to buy food stuffs.
Basically, give up your constitution and submit or die.

The danger is that he is teaching these things to people who don’t know better with the idea of getting people to convert. That is the goal of every Mormon dealing with Non-mormons - conversion. “Every member a missionary” is constantly drilled into your head - make friends with the goal of getting converts, only date non-mormons if you think they will convert. USE YOUR POSITIONS AT WORK OR SCHOOL, USE YOUR POWER TO GET PEOPLE INTERESTED IN ‘the Church’. Frankly, I used to do it do, now I am disgusted by it.
The post was speaking of the other Freeper. It pushes the envelope of making the thread “about” another Freeper but by asking intent it does not read the other poster’s mind or attribute motives to him.
If you are talking about Beck he rejected the LORD Jesus Christ and Christianity when he left the Catholic Church
Lets see what Jesus says about what Beck did when he spat on the LORD Jesus Christ and left Christianity and joined the pagan blasphemeous Mormon religion..

Worth a repost - that is exactly what he did even though he doesn’t see it. He thinks he left the ‘whore of babylon’ for the ‘one true Church’.
