My sister in law told me of a baby in the hospital right now with a condition called Congenital diaphragmatic hernia. This is the same condition her own daughter had when she was born, and thanks to lots of prayers she made it and is now a young woman. The baby's name is Jacob, and he is very sick. Please pray for baby Jacob. Thanks for reading, and for your prayers.
Here is the message my sis in law sent:
Everyone...just a quick plea to ask everyone for extra prayers tonight as Jacob is exhibiting signs of an infection around his incision site. He is running a fever and his incision is looking extremely bad. Hopefully the antibiotic will take hold and it's nothing they would have to reopen the site for. Please pray for wisdom for the nurses, doctors and others that are watching and treating him. And please pray that little Jacobs immune system will fight this off before it becomes any worse!
