Please pray for the repose of the soul of Francie who is dear to my heart and many others. She passed away early yesterday morning at my ex-husband's home, and I'm feeling like my prayers failed her. I sent for some water from Kateri's shrine, my daughter took it up to her, and she rubbed some on herself. She was 43 years old, leaves behind five children and had a difficult life, but she probably didn't see it that way. She had an indomitable spirit even through her pain and suffering. She wanted to get well and ride her bike again, but the cancer had spread too far before it was diagnosed.
I mentioned it briefly on this thread. I know we can't know the ways of God.

Five children
That’s what I had when my husband passed away at the age of 46. My sympathies for her husband and children.
That should have been at the age of 48
May she rest in peace. Prayers and condolences to her family and friends.
Prayers for your comfort.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
My prayers are with the friends and family she left behind.
May the Lord take Francie’s soul unto his bosom, and make clear to you how worthy your prayers for her were.
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.
Prayers up. God bless.
“and I’m feeling like my prayers failed her.”
I hate to see you saying that - please don’t blame any “imperfect” prayers for her death. I am sure God does not blame you for it, nor does anyone else.
Praying for God’s comfort upon you at this time.
Prayers sent for her, her family and friends.
You didn’t fail her.
