Sionnsar has passed away. See post 408.
From sionnsar's wife, Freeper LibreOuMort:
Please pray for Sionnsar. He is at John Muir Hospital in Concord, CA, where he was admitted last evening for breathing problems. He has sepsis, is on a ventilator, they started dialysis and the infections disease specialist is ordering tests to rule out serious things. He is NOT awake. Not sure why he is so sick.
We need your love and support, now.
Thank you.
Please freepmail me if you wish to be added or dropped from the mitten ping.
I know some of you are already aware of our loss, but as this thread ran on the Religion forum I assume Sion's passing is not known by all.
Although Sionnsar no longer lived in Michigan he kept himself very well informed of all of the issues we face here, and he was very involved with the whole mitten crowd. This is a sad loss for us all, especially his widow LibreOuMort and their family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Libre.
Oh, I’m so sorry. Thank you for the ping. May God bless his soul and comfort his family.
Thanks for the ping, grellis. Thanks for the updates on this thread, HKMk23. Belated condolences, LibreOuMort and to your daughter for her loss. Thanks for being here. Condolences to the remainder of sionnsar’s family and friends. Thanks to every poster.
love
R.I.P., sionnsar
Bump for all freepers in rememberance of our lost FRiend.
Prayers for those who loved him that are still on their journey.
BUMP to the Top, indeed.
It has been said, “The pen is mightier than the sword.”
If, then, we reserve a holiday to memorialize those who have “wielded the sword” on behalf of this great nation, how ought we memorialize those that have wielded the pen? Indeed, they are also every inch warriors, but they fight upon a different field; they fight the War of Ideas, which are more deadly than swords. A man may die by the stroke of a sword, but a bad idea can destroy an entire nation, or even the whole world.
So, how to remember them? I do not deign to answer, but leave the question as food for thought.
Rest In Peace, sionnsar, for in the tireless quest for Liberty others have come after thee, and now carry forward those noble ideas for which you were such a great and worthy champion.
Thoughts of sionnsar, and prayers for LibreOuMort. Although he is greatly missed, I pray that LibreOuMort feels the joy of having had him in her life. God bless them both.
I was thinking of sionnsar the other day. Seattle is nuts and he knew it. Godspeed

.
Maybe that is why he spent so much of his time in other places! ;O)
.
I am blessed for having had such a wonderful husband in Sionnsar and today I am blessed with the FReeper family that he loved so much and that has carried me and my girls through the valley of the shadow of death. Sionnsar lives! in the nearer presence of His Lord and Saviour. In that I greatly rejoice, though for a while I must live without him. I know I shall see him again. God’s love rest upon you all.
Thank you! I am sure Sionnsar is pleased with how you all have carried on. I am grateful to you all for the FRiendship you have shown me and my family. I will never give up the fight.
No problem. I’m an Everett guy myself. God Bless
I am just a bit South between Redmond and Carnation.
The Maltby Cafe has great breakfasts.....
:-)
Still missing you, brother.
