Yet you applaud that the Church, in your estimation at least, has no influence.

I can only conclude that you must support those listed items that the Church opposes.

If what you say about Catholicism is true in part globally, it is true in spades for Protestantism, which is all but dead in Europe, Canada and Australia, and in rapid decline in the United States. I see nothing wrong, however, with the fact that the growth of Catholicism is in the industrializing world, and there is an emerging Catholic renaissance in Europe, as she shrugs off the social gospel and modernism which Protestantism infected her with.
