There should be no doubt that the next Gaza war won't resemble the 2008-2009 war, and it could start at any time.

If you follow events in Israel closely, you recognize the routine. First Hamas engages in indiscriminate attacks on innocent Israeli civilians. Next Israel responds. Then Hamas announces a unilateral ceasefire. Soon thereafter, the attacks resume, and Israel responds. Eventually, a full-scale war breaks out. It's as predictable as clockwork. That's how the Gaza War of 2008-2009 began, and that's how the next Gaza war will start -- only the next Gaza war will be markedly different.

Given its proximity to the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, Israel's most populous region, Gaza is the logical place for the war to begin. From southern Lebanon, Hezb'allah has promised to join the fight, probably with an attack on Haifa, Israel's third-largest metropolitan area. Syria, Egypt, and Jordan may join the fight as well, and Israel could end up fighting a war for survival on all sides, much like the Six Day War. But things have changed markedly since 1967. The U.S. is weaker in the Middle East than it has been in decades, and Islamist groups are stronger than they have ever been. There should be no doubt that the next Gaza war won't resemble the 2008-2009 war, and it could start at any time.

Keep not thou silence, O God:
hold not thy peace,
and be not still, O God.
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult:
and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,
and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation;
that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee:
6 the tabernacles of Edom, and the Ish'maelites;
of Moab, and the Hag'arenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Am'alek;
the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them:
they have helped the children of Lot.
The modern incarnations of the nations listed in the prophecy are:
The Psalm 83 war is quickly coming together.
The Israeli’s should bomb all the schools and mosques first.
Take out the terrorist’s base of operations.
If the Israelis do decide to bomb the mosques, they need to do so when the buildings are full - no use doing the “humanitarian” thing and waiting until the places are empty.
Yes, and the timing should be perfect to maximize the collateral damage.
First the mosques, on Friday.
Then the funeral processions.
Then the schools the following week.
Friday’s would be good. But then again, Friday is always a good day. ;-)
Israeli’s should review how the U.S. helped them militarily in the past. Then assume that they will have to provide that same help themselves without the U.S. at least until Obama is out of the presidency.
TGIF?
Obama will not help. And France and Britain, as well as much of the rest of Europe, has been siding with the Muzzies. As is the UN.
That may mean that Israel will be forced to resort to nuclear weapons this time, in order to survive.
Not a good situation.
Exactly.
Good Friday.
If your trying to enrage the Muslim world, why don’t you bomb the water and waste water distribution centers. If you did that you would do more damage than just bombing operational centers.
1. If it originates in the north...drive a wall of artillery all the way to Damascus, followed by tanks, helicopters and infantry (in that order).
If it comes from the South, rinse and repeat.
I'm talking about expending 1 million...even 10 million 155mm howitzer rounds.
If missiles or WMD come from anywhere, nuke Tehran with a dozen neutron weapons.
They may not have to use nukes. I think they will win. But it will not be pretty. This time they will need to occupy Gaza and rule it with an absolutely iron fist. They will need to hunt down the Hamas folks and imprison them. That will mean a lot of prisons. And the heck with what the rest of the world thinks. Most of them don’t like Israel anyway. The special relationship Israel had with America has been absolutely wrecked by The Messiah.
Yes, yes, yes.... exterminate the Evil.....
Most of the Iranians are pro Western. They also feel the wrath and lash of their leaders. I would not nuke Tehran. A very selective strike with conventional precision arms on the majlis (Iranian Parliament) in session would make Iran leaderless.
I just said what I would do first.
And gee, I wouldn’t want to make them mad, but extermination down to the last tit-sucking babe is the optimal goal.
Mosques? Cemeteries? Schools? You forgot Hospitals and Churches (not all Pali’s are Moslem’s). Maybe the Israelis should push them into the sea or over the border into Egypt. Drive out all Islamic people, Blow up all Mosques, re-settle the land with Jews only! No settlements—whole cities. Let there be no more camps of so called refugees. This is a bit harsh—but one side has to win this war—no more half finished wars. What would have happened if WW II has been stopped for humanitarian reasons in 1943? Given enough time Hitler could have perfected his V-2s early and put Atomic Bombs on them and won the war. These peace breaks just gives the Palis time to re-arm and re-group for a final attack and ultimately victory. The Jews better start fighting or start to leave for the USA as soon as possible.
Thus, we may have the unique situation wherein BOTH sides believe it is in their best interests to act sooner..That's not a good thing.
Whatever Israel does it will have to be quick before Obama can mobilize against them.
I disagree. This time they will need to drive all Gaza residents into the Sinai. Then they will need to seal the Southern border.
