You don’t believe it, because Faith is a gift, pray about it and i am sure the Holy Spirit will lead you, just as Christians have been led from the time of the Apostles to the present. Reject this great apostasy doctrine. As to your Salvation, read John 6. The Church is the Body of Christ on earth, is there more than One Christ, if no, there is only One Body of Christ.
