The problem such people don’t get is the OT contained types and shadows, but when Jesus came the types and shadows were done away with, since those types and shadows pointed to Him!

So; Jesus has ascended into Heaven, with a RESURRECTED body, and yet, here on Earth, little bitty pieces of His body and little bitty sips of His blood pop up EVERYwhere.

Sorry, but I DON'T believe it.

And believeing one way or the other ain't gonna make a hill of beans to my salvation: right?

I've had about wenough of your smarmy condescension. Show us how brilliant you are, tell us how the name Lucifer got into the lexicon of Biblical teaching. Smith used that name with his faux scriptures, and he got it from the KJV of the Bible. But where did the King James teranslators get it?

Your effort to insult me isn't exactly a defense of the traditions of men which have weaseled their way into Catholic and Protestant teaching. You want to argue. I will now ignore your spittle.

Hopefully, you believe Jesus is God. You don’t believe it, because Faith is a gift, pray about it and i am sure the Holy Spirit will lead you, just as Christians have been led from the time of the Apostles to the present. Reject this great apostasy doctrine. As to your Salvation, read John 6. The Church is the Body of Christ on earth, is there more than One Christ, if no, there is only One Body of Christ.

This n00b comes across more like a stealth Mormon trying to create an argument and thus confusion, than a Catholic Christian. Be cautious with this ‘one’ n00b.

Now you’re beginning to sounding like a mormon missionary. “Pray about it.”, “...great apostasy...”, “There’s only one [true] church.”.

Btw, since you’re a N00b, mindreading is against FR RF rules —”You don’t believe it,...”

I notice you can’t answer the question, but you can play smarmy mormonesque games. I think maybe you’ve outed yourself, ‘one’.

elsie said “sorry i don’t BELIEVE it” maybe if you read the post i am responding to, you won’t accuse me of mind reading!

Oh I read it alright...

"Hopefully, you believe Jesus is God. You don’t believe it, because Faith is a gift..."

The inference I've drawn from your comment is quite clear to me.

But I'll defer to elsie.

Be careful with this ‘one’ n00b. It may be posting on FR with another name(s). The cagey smarm has a certain familiarity to it.

As an ex-mo, I don’t see the humor.

They’re well used terms in mormon missionary “work”.

It might be useful to check out the following post from 'one': 'the test; faking the extremes'

This poster is not what it presents itself to be. I think we may have a 'pretend Catholic' seeking to create dissonance on Mormonism threads. I could be wrong now ... but I don't think so.

Thanks for reposting my tests. Mormons would flunk big time, since their false religion was started in the 19th century and they reject the Nicene Creed to boot!

Whatever you say Doctor. (BTW, I’m one too.) Compare the faithlessness of the former Lutherans of East Germany with the faith-filled Catholics of Poland. The Lutherans of Germany lost their faith in the face of trials, the opposite happened in Poland. I stand with my German Pope and his statements. Catholicism flourished under the persecutions of the Nazis and then the communists, protestantism failed under 1/2 of the pressure.

By their fruits you shall know them.

You offered, "By their fruits you shall know them."

Um, do you really want to use that phrase, lifted from the Bible, when the phrase was directed at false teachers, not fellow Christians? Catholics and Protestants have in common that they are faithing in The Lord Jesus Christ revealed in the Bible as Savior. Mormons, not so much.
