About as much as Mohammad is.
At what point has the almighty eastforker determined that a man can call himself an Indian...white, black or Chinese?
I'm supposed to leave the thread. But you've persisted to ping me 3 times since I was requested to leave so I guess I'll answer. And I suppose it helps that its "theological" in nature.
As far as I'm concerned those that believe NT writings to be infallible are missing nothing in the Bible to gain salvation. And I really hope that, even though I can't be persuaded any longer, that it works out for ya. That enough for ya? I really don't know what you're requiring of me since I thought I'd already answered this.
Ok. I'm really gone this time.
"What my eternal destination would be, I dont know. I dont know the mind of God, who judges all men according to their works, according to the desire of their hearts Doctrine and Covenants 137:9"
I would have not expected any different answer to the question when asked of a mormon except a quote from the D&C, words direct from Joseph Smith.
Jesus weeps for you, Normandy.
That is the absolute most evasive non-answer ever, LOL!
I'll ask you on the next thread you're not kicked off of.
Search the scriptures is good advice which enables one to discern which is the Lords way and not get fleece.

But how come its the scriptures from the Holy book of another entirely different religion that you keep posting and not the scriptures of your own religion...
I dont use your mormon scriptures to support my comments about my beliefs...
As a Christian, I use only the Christian Bible...
You have claimed for years in these threads that your belief in mormonism, LDS, Joseph Smith, is superior to all other beliefs...especially Christianity...
and yet for sources and/all examples you revert back to the sacred text of your youth when you were a Presbyterian...the very ones you rejected and left behind...
Whats that all about ???
IMHO you need to post ONLY the verses from your own book of mormon or any of the other solely LDS publications and leave the religious literature of others alone...
the Book of Mormon talks about not hearkening to a wicked man.

You all love to spin it but when reading further the wick man was Sherman who denied the Christ!
The topic of that last group was to search the scripture to know the good from the evil.
Don’t be fooled that is why one puts on the *armor of God in order not to be mislead!
*Search the Scriptures!
It is what a man sees himself as,not what others see him as.
That's too bad Norm. There is not a single power on Earth that can make me less free and saved. Nothing can seperate me from the truth. Nothing can seperate me from the love of God.
If I were locked in a North Korean prison and beaten every day, I would still be completely free.
And my eternal destinatin would never change. I will walk with Jesus forever.
No, you seriously don’t get it. Christianity is BINARY. You are one or you are not. You can’t be “a little bit Christian”.
But how come its the scriptures from the Holy book of another entirely different religion that you keep posting and not the scriptures of your own religion...

But those who study the scriptures and invite the Lord to edify know that is not true.
John 14
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
If you are asking me if I think witnessing should be about bringing a basket of flowers attitude..I would say yes..however with the strength of truth which is found in Christ the LORD... Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is that sword, even when you bring a *Basket of Flowers*
As I said in earlier posts, the former LDS members are the best witnesses to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to Mormons and counteract thier false doctrine with the *Truth* of the Holy Bible and Gospel of Christ, that is why I said I will bow out, because I do not know what Mormon doctrine teaches, I just know many Mormons say they are Christians and believe JOHN 14:6.
IMHO Jews who find Jesus Christ are the best witnesses to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to non-believing Jews and Muslims who reach out to other Muslims with the Gospel of Christ, I believe thier is more of a trust level when people that have been of the same faith can be a faithful witness when they do find the truth of Jesus Christ to preach to members of there former religion.
From my personal experience as a witness for Jesus Christ I was never successful in reaching the lost with *in your face, going to Hell* methods with un-believers, I found *as you say: A Basket of Flowers approach, to be a tool that people embraced and wanted to learn more about the Jesus Christ I was witnessing for....
If you asked people that have left the Church, why they left most will say because they were forced by methods of Hell and damnation if they did not go.....
I'm not fooled.....I'm standing planted and my shield is held firmly. And using the Word of God as my sword....not a man named J. Smith.
So by your reasoning, couldn't you be really, really good and desire to be exalted?
That's not what you posted.........
May the sweet Spirit of the Lord find you!
Just to clarify, because you are LDS.
Christians do not need the Mormon Heavenly Father or the Mormon Jesus Christ:
JESUS CHRIST: The spirit of Jesus Christ was the first spirit born to God the Father (YOUR "Heavenly Father") and his wife (Heavenly Mother). He progressed to become a God under the Father. (The Father is also the literal father of Jesus' body in the exact same way we were begotten by our earthly parents.)That is the jesus of the LDS from their own writings.
We believe in the Biblical Jesus Christ.
You have a different one.
Thank you.
But that falls back on YOUR belief system and how you envision Christianity. Not everyone will view the world through your eyes.I would venture to say there are millions of people that consider themselves as somewhat Christian. The muslims see themselves in the same light as many here do also. What, no such thing as a moderate muslim, no some will tell you, they are all killers and terrorist. We know for a fact that is not true. There are moderate christians of many faiths who don’t see the world through your eyes.
Had he existed 1500 years ago he would have been burned at the stake.
