A little sarcasm is fine. The extreme fonts and screams serves their purpose so they can sit back and say ‘oh, pity us poor persecuted ones’.

No,not really. you trotted him out, expecting us to say "oh a rabbi". But then he must BE a Rabbi, correct?

Or else it is akin to you, restornu saying "See this article written by Paragon Defender". Namely if you cite someone as "proof" then that someone should be verifiable

This "rabbi" is not in any rabbinical lists. Is he real?

And yet all historical / genetic / archaeological / linguistic evidence shows that native Americans have no trace of Semitic roots at all.

the Lamanites and Nephites did not exist -- they were made-up, a fictional group of people made-up by J Smith

“"According to the Book of Mormon, the family of Lehi (a wealthy Hebrew prophet), the family of Ishmael, and Zoram traveled from the Middle East circa 600 BC to the Americas by boat. Some time after the death of Lehi (in the Americas), one of the sons of Lehi, Nephi, overheard that his brothers were plotting to kill him, so Nephi, his family, and his followers left and went into the wilderness. The followers of Nephi called themselves Nephites. The followers of Laman, Lehi's oldest sons, were called Lamanites.

"Many Latter Day Saints believe that the Lamanites comprise some part, if not the primary origin, of Native Americans. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) appears to accept this position."

They believe that American Indians are the descendants of ancient Jews.

This is historically/ genetically / linguistically / archaeologically false

HUH? Are you gonna put a couple of rocks in a hat and "come across the information what was missing"?

I really don't think this method fulfills the Religion Moderator's requirement for accurate sourcing of claims, (especially when one claims that God's gonna change genetics and DNA!)

I love Science Fiction...

Resty: I know you do that is why you adhere to the Nicene Creed

I guess that first line "We believe in on God" was as far as you could get without cracking up, eh?

And the LDS are the ones who believe in personal planets you can populate with your spirit children. How ARE you going to get there, btw?

That is not fact it is a misrepresentation!

"Mother; I've learned for myself that PRESBYTERIAN is untrue."

And what would you call this LIE?

Wrong when you understand the process of DNA not some wantabe tinkering fool then one will hundreds of years.

UNDERSTAND???  What's to 'understand'?

Don't you ever READ THE words OF YOUR prophets????

In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these “Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet”, for our salvation depends on them.

1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say “Thus Saith the Lord,” to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by men’s reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidency—the highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidency—the living prophet and the First Presidency—follow them and be blessed—reject them and suffer.

I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captain—how close do our lives harmonize with the Lord’s anointed—the living Prophet—President of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.

Ezra Taft Benson

(Address given Tuesday, February 26, 1980 at Brigham Young University)
