Awesome, and, as it should be. In the hand is not reverent enough, and it’s origin was, IIRC, heretical. Even the American branch of the Roman Catholic Church should disallow it, but that’s my silly opinion.

As usual what people saw what they wanted to see. Thank God, because of technology, we don't have to depend on "witnesses" accounts!

Here is a Youtube evidence that shows without any doubt that, while some priests refused to give in the hand, others (to the right) were placing the Hosts into the hands.

**No Communion in The Hand**

I long for this to happen everywhere. If you want proof — ask the sacristan for a non-consecrated host and have him or her put it into your black-gloved-hand. Then pick it up and see all the tiny fragments that remain on your black-gloved-hand. You will never receive Holy Communion in your hand again!!

Don’t believe me? Try it! But not with a consecrated host!!
