Repentance is an ongoing thing . . . When I was a Baptist I used to be amazed at the people who kept going to the altar to get saved - in case it didn't take the first time around. That's why we Mormons take the Sacrament (Communion) every Sunday. Catholics do that, too. It's renewing our Covenants. Thank Goodness for the Atoning Sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Then according to mormon doctrine you are an unrepentant covenant breaker. How easy does that make it to earn your salvation SD. Jesus’ atonement cannot come into effect as long as your are sinful. Perhaps more works eh?

It's renewing our Covenants.

Quit BREAKING them and you won't have to RENEW them!

Repentance is an ongoing thing . . .

“Repentance is a thing that cannot be trifled with every day. Daily transgression and daily repentance is not that which is pleasing in the sight of God.” —Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 148

So why do you continue to displease God SD?

DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS 58:43: “By this ye may know if a man repenteth of his sins—behold, he will confess them and forsake them.

You statement and your doctrine tell me that your view of repentance is disrespectful to Jesus.

And since you continue to sin - you haven't repented and since you haven't repented, Jesus cannot save you in your sins (ALMA 11:37).

So how goes your work towards earning your salvation SD?
