Yes; and that's PD will show up with his HAYSTACK method of answering questions.
Damn it!
I'm not doing the work FOR you; dig out the needle for yourself!
Didn’t say they did, did I? So, you’re answer is a non sequitur, moron.
Black Vail, I, too, will say that I’ve never personally known a liberal Mormon except my coke drinking in-laws. Most Mormons are hard working people who don’t believe in the government hand outs. In fact, the ones I’ve known live more “Christ like” that many Christians I’ve known.
Elsie,
Companies that “call” themselves “Chritian” most likely display the fish. But the fish symbals are made by many companies and they don’t have to be “members” of a particular sect.
I worked for a Chrstian man once who said he told every employee that if some salesman came through the door with a “fish” on the back of his business card they’d better watch out. My saying is “Jesus did not wear a T-shirt with a big number “l” on the front.”
And none of this has anything to do with the fact that all Mormons MUST buy the garments through the church and they have to have been made by a Mormon company. Jews and Christians practice free enterprise.
As an ex-mormon, I will affirm that Mormonism is the indeed the wrong path of works and self-aggrandizement ....and I pray that God might bring individual Mormons to the truth of Himself. May his grace abound!
That is true..
Grape juice or fermented grape juice...its the same..
Where is the injunction against drinking wine or other alcoholic beverages, on any occasion, not just the Lord's Supper - with the exception of the Nazarenes.
If you don’t care about other people going to hell, then I pity you.
No doubt the LDS put forth an image (not nearly as accurate as most would think) as clean living and hard working, but that won’t get you to Heaven.
And, having been there, garments are NOT a reminder to ‘keep chaste’, they are a reminder of BLOOD OATHS taken in the Temple.
I have ‘checked out’ the LDS church ‘first hand’ for many years.
Most of what we post are quotes and articles directly from LDS leaders.
Also, the LDS have a bad habit of not telling potential converts the WHOLE story.

The LDS believe the Bible is corrupted and missing many ‘plain and precious things’. Most LDS place the BoM OVER the Bible for this reason and why Smith felt a need to come up with his own translation (which the LDS pick and choose from).
Care to give me a few of the verses that are not ‘translated correctly’?
Which Christ?
The LDS do not believe in the Christ of the Bible.
Care to point out some ‘misinformation’ so we can address it rather than make a blanket statement?
That they believe in a different Christ??? I apparently know much more about Mormonism than you do.
The LDS christ is a created being, who had to earn his Godhood, wasn’t always God and the Spirit brother of all of us including Lucifer. Your leaders have also taught that God had sex with Mary to conceive Jesus.
The Christ of the Bible is begotten not made, eternally God, didn’t have to come get a body to fulfill his ‘second estate’ and is NOT the product of sexual relations.
Want me to provide quotes of these teachings?? I can and will.
The LDS view of the ‘godhead’ does more than break with Post NT Christian History, it breaks with the Bible.
Mormons are henotheists.
They won't tell you that a guy is selling on EBay the sacred "Silver Plates"...which are a first draft of the missing Golden Plates.
Thank you E, and you are correct in that Mormonism’s own works are their own worst enemy.
To me it makes no difference what religion the person.. I judge by the character..
- - - - - - -
Well, you are not God. God judges people on beliefs (faith in Christ). Character won’t get you to God.
It’s a fun word. :)
LOL. Good, i need to keep fuel in my jets. :)
Speaking of garments, I came across a reference to an early endowment ceremony where they the garment markings while the person was wearing them DEEP ENOUGH TO PENETRATE THE FLESH. IOW, early Mormon endowments had blood letting.
Working right now to get a copy of the journal so I can scan it to post pictures of the text.
