Art Vanick on Glenn Beck and Mormonism
Out of Mormonism ^
Posted on 10/04/2010 12:57:36 PM PDT by Amerisrael
Art Vanick, co-author of The Spalding Enigma, Who Really Wrote The Book of Mormon, makes an appearance on Out of Mormonism to address the Glenn Beck Restoring Honor Rally.
Andy, Art, and Roger discuss the ramifications of the rally from a biblical Christian perspective.
Do Christians understand that Mormonism is different than biblical Christianity?
[ These are two separate "Out of Mormonism" radio podcasts from Mesa, Arizona. Very interesting.]
While Mormonism may not pose the violent / stealth and political threat that Islam does, from a spiritual standpoint, it is just as dangerous.

Would you like to explain for readers the Mormon doctrine of eternal progression, PD? You post these links, andtry to ridicule any opposition to mormonism, so would you like to explain one of the many oddities to Mormonism?

So far, not a single Mormonism apologists has managed to even respond to the following, which was offered on a Mormonism discussion thread:

Come on PD, moving the goal posts and all is unbecoming. I believe I asked some questions that provided enough detail for you to draw a conclusion.
"...but the ones of whom I speak and believe are the very same ones in the Holy Bible."
Then why does the BoM detail a completely different nature regarding Christ? If, as you say they "...are the very same ones...", why is the nature of the BoM christ the polar opposite from the Biblical Christ?
"Don't pretend that you make any honest inquiry. You may think I am stupid but I assure you I am not."
Your words, not mine. If, by presenting a dichotomy, you determine that it not to "be an honest inquiry" and to be insulting your intelligence, what then would constitute an "honest inquiry" that doesn't include the rote "been addressed already" response and doesn't insult your intelligence?

Oh my! One can almost hear the squirming going on. FARMS and FAIR LDS must be working feverishly to assimilate a repsonse for PD. In the end, your query will be dismissed and readers referred to the drag and paste links PD apparently hasn't read for himself else he would recognize quotes from those links which Inman posters use to expose the foolish anti-Christian assertions of Mormonism. I'm wondering if PD will address the Momron/LDS/FLDS DOCTRINE of eternal progression, especially as it defines their peculiar belief that God the Father of Jesus was once a man like us who 'progressed' to godhood.

Subject covered thousands of times. Answer continually ignored. WRONG!
Subject covered thousands of times ANSWER REJECTED continually due to be proven incorrect.

You claim to like to read ‘scripture’, but have a bunch links with ‘answers’ that are NOT scripture - why is that?

I know the answers. And I believe you have no interest in the answers. Otherwise you would read them yourself. Repeat the lie often enough?
You have been told over and over and over again in front of God and everyone that we HAVE read your "answers" and we reject them as the fiction that they are.
Your peers are trying this 'you just haven't read them" tripe too now
Perhaps if you click your Ruby Red Slipper together it will become true...
And if you knew the answers, and were sure of them and had the courage of your convictions you would be the first to share the answer in a clear way with the whole world instead of sending folks on a wild goose chase into the rabbit hole.
Standing up and answering questions clearly, correctly and proudly is what those with nothing to hide because truth is on their side do without fail...
However I am not complaining, your little games along with those of your peers does as much for the march of Truth that is exposing MormonISM more and more than all your links combined (though they re very helpful as well...)

Undecided readers,
Is what all these Mormon attack squad people parrot day in and and day out on these boards true? Don't take their word for it. Find out for yourself. Put forth some effort. You do want the truth right? Prove it.
Read both sides. Talk to both sides. Not just mine. Not just theirs. Make up your own mind.
Here's a few links to get your started from a different viewpoint. The vast majority of the issues brought up can be found and addressed at http://www.fairlds.org/ I have found but here's more.

That is your choice. Still, the answers have been given. The answers are true whether you agree with them or not. Pretending the answers have not been provided by continually asking the same questions is nothing but a propaganda tactic meant to influence the passerby. I will continue to provide a means to find the truth.
